Be sure to have the langoustine and boudin starter - it is delicious! We were there on a quiet night, didn't feel rushed and enjoyed the calm decor of the room. Everything out of the kitchen looked good - we took the veal chop and the souffle desert - yummy!

Following an advice of our friends we have decided to dine one evening in the l'Odeon restaurant. The place was very busy at that time but it did not affect the service which all the time was very professional. From the moment we entered the place to the end of our meal everything was handle with great care and precision.... More

We made a reservation over the telephone. Unfortunately this was not possible in English but I managed. Menu was also not available in English, but the hostess helped us with the translation (although she didn't really seem happy with that). The food and wine however were really nice. This restaurant is worthwhile a visit, but the atmosphere and service is... More

We tried l'Odeon ones spec as soon as it opened on a Friday evening. The manageress was a little reluctant to accommodate us as we hadn't booked, but gave us a very nice table. The food was excellent - marinated smoked salmon, capon, monkfish and similar courses, with a superb dessert of a savarin with a flambéed rum sauce. Three... More

We had lunch at the Odeon - the lunch menu (entree + main) is 15 Euro - excellent value for the price. The dishes we had were all outstanding in taste and presentation - I loved the fish. We were recommended a relatively inexpensive Loire valley white wine - which went very well with the fish. The chef also prepared... More

We had dinner, but I must say it was a bit disappointing, there was a smell entering the restaurant which was in our opinion not pleasant. We had the special menu and I ordered the recommended fish with fresh asparagus of the season, I got ONE whole asperagus!!! disappointing.

This restaurant doesn't catch the eye from the outside, but definitely worth a visit. Warm welcome. Good level of English spoken, should you need that. Set menu at 22 euros interesting and well balanced. Good value for money. Local wine recommended by maitre d'hôtel was very pleasant. Quiet and efficient service. Will certainly return when next in Tours.

Place was recommended by local colleagues : we were not disappointed ! freindly wlecome, nice dining room also a bit cold in temperature and decoration. I took the gambas as starter , the foie gras poele as main course, every thing was perfectly prepared, well coooked with delicate flavors , and omelette norvegienne as dessert , excellent too . They... More

Visiting several times a year Tours, it allows me to have some restaurante references but visiting again L'Odeon found out this time was not OK. To start, from the wine menu choose a wine that was not available and no equivalente (rose), in a restaurante like this one ? Second, found a hair in the plate and employee reaction like... More
