I really enjoyed the castle and the grounds and realized I was hungry and that it was already past 1:30 pm and that it might be difficult to get a meal in the town. I looked over the cafeteria and didn't care for their special, etc. This restaurant was still serving and I figured "why not?" And got the €30... More

If you book the Jules Verne you don't have to pay for the Eiffel Tower, but if you book the Orangerie you have to buy your tickets for the Chenonceau Casttle. But the food and service in the restaurant were nevertheless good!

I went in with high hopes of a special meal. I ordered the French Onion Soup, thinking this would be a great place to have it in France for the first time. I must admit that Campbell's is better. The salad was unique and tasty. However, we ordered two scoops of chocolate ice cream for dessert. It took almost 30... More

We loved this boutique bed and breakfast hotel in the heart of Bruge. The lounge and breakfast rooms are superb with beautiful furniture and decor and open fires to add to the atmosphere . Situated right on the canal where the boats start the tours it really is in a fabulous location to tour this lovely city .

Beautifully furnished. Very pleasant place to dine. Would recommend you visit here when viewing the chateau. It's so peaceful. The area caters for conferences and large groups as well as couples. You can also sit outside on a nice day

We had lunch here while we visited the Chateau. The menu was expensive, but included as part of our tour - #winning. I imagine their menu changes seasonally. All the fruit and vegetables in their menu is sourced directly from the garden. I love this idea.

We had lunch at L'Orangerie and felt we that we were in the lap of luxury, sitting on the patio overlooking the garden. Among the courses we had were a lamb shank, ratatouille, and a chocolate dessert. All were good but not were exceptional. The service was professional. The cost was okay given the atmosphere.

Truly a gastronomic restaurant in the heart of the grounds of this magnificent Chateau. The service was outstanding. English is spoken. The menu is typical French and offers for the princely sum of 37 Euro, a 4 course meal of outstanding excellence. As expected the Amuse Bouche could be a meal in itself. The bread wonderful, the food brilliant, the... More

After our visit of the rather cold and humid castle of Chenonceaux, it was quite a relief to find this annex to the old stables. Sitting in a sheltered and (at the beginning too much) heated terrace, we had a comfortable lunch, whose quality was not overwhelming but still more than sufficient. Nice view on the park.

We sought refuge from the rain with hot cups of tea or coffee and the treats which came with the coffee gourmand. Good shelter and dainty treats.
