we love France and went to visit the Cathedral in Chartres and of course needed to eat while there. We both love crepes and we were not disappointed with what was on offer and very reasonable too

A very friendly little place that offers great crepes. Have a crepe with apples and flambéed with Calvados and enjoy a fun conversation with Thierry the waiter. An ideal place for a leisurely lunch or an afternoon snack. Try their cider!

The menu has a variety of choices of crepes, from salty to sweet ones. It's not an easy task to pick one. The prices are cheap, but worth the money, in my opinion. The location is really good if you visit the cathedral (and you will if you visit Chartes).

Famous for crepes and not disappointed. Also tried its soup. Pretty good too. A nice combination with a day trip to Chartres.

Excellent address, a stone-throw away from the Cathedral. The galettes (savory dishes) are plenty big enough for a meal, with so many options everybody will find something to their taste, from the classics (ham, cheese, mushrooms) to elaborate concoctions featuring foie-gras, andouillette, blue cheese, raclette, smoked duck filet, smoked salmon, etc. There are also salads and sandwiches, but why would... Snobby waiters, poor selection of wine, but reasonably priced and filling crepes with a wide variety of dessert versions. Seems like locals come for the prices.

Friendly and cheerful staff, good service and excellent food with an interesting presentation. The place to go for a good lunch next to the fantastic cathedral.

I gotta admit the galettes were delicious here! You've got a huge cart with a significant choice still no matter what we took it was fresh and good! The only thing that could bother you is tables placed extremely close to each other. The place was quite busy when we came, what's normal for a Saturday noon. So it's barely... More

I have a gluten-intolerance issue. Sometimes this can be difficult to communicate if your French isn't fluent. But here, not only did they understand, their galettes are made with buckwheat, which doesn't have gluten, so I was able to enjoy a bread-type dish on my vacation. And it was delicious! The cafe was clean and very cute -- and the... More
