Moules Marinieres and frites are our choice of food here as the restaurant specialises in mussels! But other dishes are available, a wonderful salad of salmon, mussels etc should not be missed amongst others on offer. Attentive, efficient but friendly staff, English menus are available if you need them. Great little chain restaurant with a good atmosphere.

What do you eat at Leon's? Moules, of course, with frites washed down with a good Belgian beer. Other foodstuffs are available, but why bother? Attentive but not overpowering staff made the whole dining experience a good one.

You would't guess from the name, but this is essentlally a seafood restaurant, although there are steaks on the menu. It's very much in a chain style, but quite good for that type of food. I had the Fish & frites, which tasted OK. I was a bit disappointed that the fish was breadcrumbed rather than battered. My wife has... More

We ate here whilst staying at the Ibis next door, and were not disappointed. Unlike some of the other reviewers, we experienced good, friendly service, even though the restaurant was quite busy. I had moules-frittes (what else?), my nearest and dearest had "fish and frittes", and both were good. The mussels were very fresh and well cooked. The hotel gave... More

We've eaten at a Leon before in Reims and sort of knew what to expect. The greeter was a bit dour and was more interested in if we had a reservation (so she could cross it off her list?) than if we wanted to actually sit down. The (very) young waiter spoke no English at all which was surprising but... More

This restaurant is close to many of the newer hotels outside of Bourges. Easy to get a table but not so easy to get what you ordered! Wine took ages to arrive even after asking for it agin. There didn't seem to be enough staff to wait on tables. The food was okay and filled a hole. Not sure I... More

We were staying at the Ibis Styles nearby and they gave us a discount voucher so we walked over when the restaurant opened. It was a lovely evening so we sat outside and as we were some of the first people there the service was good. As the place filled up the service went downhill so if you go when... More

One of a chain of restaurants specializing in mussels, which were very good, several choices of preparation and large portions, reasonably priced. Service was slow, inattentive and non-accommodating. We ate here because it was one of only two convenient restaurants next to our hotel. Would not eat here again by choice.

We didn't arrive at this restaurant till 21:45 having been delayed on our way down through France. We were just glad that they were still serving and would have been grateful for anything to be fair. The main offering seems to be Moules in various sauces. The restaurant was busy but the service was fast. We had moules frites followed... More

Excellent service, very good food and a reasonable price. The staff at this particularly Leon de Bruxelles are very friendly and efficient.
