Had an excellent meal here in a nice environment (ate outside). Wine prices were reasonable too. Not far from a popular square with mass outside dining and loud music but this music was much quieter and unobtrusive at this restaurant.

We were stopping in Blois on the way south and arrived late and tired so we needed to find somewhere quickly and took a chance on this restaurant. The whole experience was excellent from the welcome (despite being busy), the food and the comfortable atmosphere. Capped by possibly the best creme brulee I've tasted and there's been a few over... We were not sure what to expect as we had never eaten here before but the menu board outside convinced me that we would get good locally sourced traditional food and so it turned out. The three of us chose the €23,00 set menu washed down with a couple of beers and a bottle of Gamay followed by three coffees.... More

No English menu here and little English spoken but who cares, the food speaks for itself. Decided to try something different and ordered a dish that Google translate could not cope with. Turned out to be poached eggs in a sort of thick oxtail soup. Absolutely gorgeous. Coq au vin next and again it was great. Pan perdu for dessert.... More

Food was very tasty and very local (they do love giblets in the area, and the waiter know that it is not all foreigners that are loving this, so they do check if you are sure what you are ordering). Service was very sweet. Location is great.

We felt that this restaurant is a bit pricey for the quality and service. This was confirmed when had a much better meal and experience for quite a bit less the following evening. Not bad just okay

After spending 4 nights in Blois and going to a different restaurant every time, we decided to try this place for our last dinner in the city. And it was a good decision, as the service was quick and friendly, and the food was tasty. There are several traditional dishes; I personally recommend their Coq au Vin that was delicious.... More
