... and the second visit would have probably been just as good. Just that we descided on a new venue for a change. Next visit to Blois... no reason not to revisit Le Bouchon again.

Been in France for several weeks and have visited many areas and cities. This by far is the best restaurant we have been to for a quite romantic dinner which won’t cost you an arm or leg. Very reasonable cost and very nice owners.

Very Good. Well cooked French food, well priced, served by a guy who knew what he was doing. A good choice of continental beers and local wine.

This was our first trip to Blois, and we needed a good restaurant on a cold Sunday evening in October, after driving 650 km from Toulouse. We chose Au Bouchon Lyonnais on the basis of recent reviews. Rue des Violettes is just off the main...More

We visited en famille. Excellent starter very full plate of pork meat. Main course of duck and veal liver - excellent. Can recommend. However Blois is a fully priced area compared to others in France so visitors beware.

Walked in just in time to get one of only a few unreserved tables. They were turning others away all night. Meal and service were amazing! Escargot, onion soup were very very good, as were our main dishes. The people running the restaurant were friendly,...More

Good cuisine anyway. Deep County side of France, that's mean good most of time with no expensive bill anyway. Plates Need to be finish with a homemade vinaigrette or furnished with a well quality piece of steak. Such as a pity. Nethertheless it's a good...More

Clearly popular and pleasant restaurant with attentive service and well cooked, good quality food. Comprhensive wine list and the Belgium monastic beer was most enjoyable.
