Our group of 6 went here for dinner one night while visiting the region. The owner of the B n B where we were staying recommended it and where we ever happy. The Beef Bourgogne was the best ever, and our waiter, Brice was helpful and pleasant with us. This restaurant impressed us as it was very busy, and there... More

Having visited Dijon for the last four years and sampled many of its wonderful restaurants, we were astonished by the lack of quality of the food, drink and service at Le Chabrot. On looking at the wine menu (Chabrot styles itself as a wine bar as well as a restaurant) we discovered that many of the wines were no longer... More

This place doesn't even look as big as it is...... Inside is a maze of dining rooms! So if you had a party and needed a space, they are very accommodating. You have to just check it out! But my favorite is the outside sitting for the spectacular people watching on Rue Monge. Now I am a Sommelier and wine... More

Easy to reach from city center and charming restaurant typical of Burgundy region. We had a nice waiter who spoke English and was able to make suggestions. The only negative was that he suggested a very expensive wine that was as much as both of our meals, but that was our fault for not looking at his suggestion on the... More

Dropped by for the " formule" lunch, based on a recommendation....it was a delightful experience, with attentive service and a delicious 3 course meal for 16 euro. After a " hit and miss" week in Paris in terms of dining, we were extremely pleased with the quailty and value at this bistrot. A very extensive wine list is also on... More

This restaurant had very good service and we enjoyed the atmosphere. It is quiet and romantic. The wine list is extremely good if you want to spend on good wine. We had the filet of beef for two ( something like Chateaubriand for two) and it was very good. The portions are bigger than I thought and with an appetizer... More

The food is good, but service is rushed and if it is busy, you'll be seated in the back room. Not particularly good value

While the food is a little pricey, that's what you expect on Place Emile Zola. Le Chabrot has a exhausting menu of wines, but the staff is very knowledgable and can instruct you according to your tastes, meal, and budget. I think Le Chabrot is perfect for a group of friends out for a drink and appero. It's also slightly... More

We loved everything we ordered here. We watched the day getting darker, and the plaza next to it getting more and more crowded. The server was all business, but not to the point that I felt unpleasant. The food was really good.
