The food and service here were great - and the great value made it even more enjoyable! Each course has some tasty surprise. The staff made us feel very welcome and made a great effort to help in English given our broken French. Was surprised how nice the dining room was as from outside the place looked a little dated...... More

What an amazing experience. Cooking like this is a real art. Worth the visit and will recommend it to anybody for a gastronomic experience superior to any ever tasted in North America. In North America the Finesse of preparing an amazing meal is absorbed by the impatience to make money. Nowhere in any city in France will they book 2... More

We believe that Stephan Derbord is one of the best restaurant that we have dinned! The atmosphere, the staff are just wonderful. Of course we have to mention about the Wife of the Chef! She is great! The meal was very good. We recommend this restaurant to any one who appreciates good food! Thank you to both Derbords!

Using Dijon as our sleep-over town, we wanted to take this opportunity to enjoy some good (fine) dining with our daughters 10/12. The place is nice; nothing too fancy but all neat and tidy. The experience, in a nutshell: we all enjoyed really nice food (including the children) and service, while caring, was a bit all over the place, fuzzy,... More

The food was amazing and the sommelier paired my wine. So many coarses and they seeemd to get better and better. I had Venison as my main coarse which was new to the menu. The Cheese Cart came and I was not sure what to select so they prepared me a BIG sample plate. Even with small plates....so much food... More

Not having eaten in a Michelin starred restaurant wasn't sure what to expect especially with two teenage boys in tow. Needn't have worried as the staff were all very friendly and helpfull. The food was delicious and a real experience. Although we ordered 3 courses, a number of extra dishes or 'amuse-bouche' were also served. The wine list is extremely... More

Unfortunately did not enjoy most of the meal. Nothing very creative, sometimes not that tasty, sometimes way too greasy and salty, truffle sauce didn't taste of truffles. The lowest quality one Michelin star restaurant I've visited, based on the food. Our wines were great.

We enjoyed Christmas lunch here and can honestly say it was the best meal we have ever had. Everything was excellent from the ease and efficiency of booking, excellent welcome and customer service throughout, relaxed yet professional ambience and food beyond compare. There are not enough superlatives to describe our experience here and it comes highly recommended. Expensive lunch and... More
