Great restaurant a little off the main square

Found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and gave it a go. The food and service was very good. The server spoke an acceptable level of English. It is off the beaten path, not far from the main square, but far enough that it is not terribly packed. The food was quite authentic to the region... read more

We were looking for some nice food in Bourgogne but end up first at some fancy and expensive restaurants which the food was nothing special. So we asked the hotel for a local place with good food and they recommended La table de Guigone. Were were very satisfied by this recommendations. It’s a family restaurant, simple but very good food,... More

This is a local "neighbourhood", family owned and operated restaurant in Beaune, just inside the ramparts. It is small with only about 10 tables, with a limited menu. However, if you're looking for an easy meal, away from the tourist crowds, at a reasonable price, I recommend it. The service was good, the meal was good. It was spotlessly clean,... More

As the center of the Burgundian wine trade, Beaune attracts both people in all facets in the wine business, as well as the many tourists who come to enjoy Burgundy, and to learn more about its wine, food and history while enjoying them here, along with many other visitors who want the same, and all at the same time. As... More

The rabbit pate was presented superbly and was delicious, as were the escargots. We each had different preparations of beef and both were very good. The pear poached in red wine we had for dessert was served with a wonderful cassis sorbet and a meringue. This was our best meal so far after a week in France. The bottle of... More

The experience we had here was truly memorable. Delicious meals, and great, friendly service. Somewhat tucked away, but that is a part of its charm. Well worth seeking out! Impressed us more than another restaurant we visited earlier in our trip which held the honour of a Michelin Star.

We went to this lovely restaurant twice in the short time we were in Beaune. The food was sensational, traditional French food cooked fresh and at great prices! The service was great and they were very accommodating for our larger group that wanted to sit outside. I would highly recommend going to this gorgeous little restaurant!

We came across this restaurant by chance in 2012 and had such a good meal that when passing through Beaune again in 2015 we made a point of finding it again. We had another excellent meal with very good and reasonably priced wine. It is family run so no chopping and changing of chefs to affect the quality between visits.

We were directed to this establishment by our hostess. It is away from the main centre. We were refused a table at first but when we mentioned our hostess we were asked if we could wait 20 minutes which we did. Whilst it was not full it appeared to be husband in the kitchen and wife serving so they did... More

My family and I had a great experience here. Excellent food and efficient and polite service (English is spoken). Many specialities of the region are available. €26 and €29 formula menus, a la carte and a more expensive option are all offered. One of the only restaurants in Beaune open on a Sunday night.
