We booked with minimal research - picking up from a Green Michelin guide. Garden nice, music of the soft cover-version kind and not objectionable and the food itself a game effort at stylish cuisine ,complete with amuse bouche and titbits with the dessert. But my oh my the prices are quite something. London-ish - and the wine list pricing is... More

This lovely restaurant is in a garden setting with very good food and great service. The food is well presented and delicious. It is expensive but you get what you pay for. We spent 150 Euro for 2 people ( one glass of wine), but were happy with the meal.

Good grub, fine service, nice wine list, delightful surroundings, convenient location (even with a few parking spots) - what's not to like (apart from the price) ? Not much is the short answer but there were a few blemishes which knocked this otherwise excellent restaurant down a notch - wrong type of water (still not sparkling) brought to the table,... More

Absurdly expensive for what you get: microscopic portions of slightly bizarre concoctions. All starters are 30Eur plus. Even a simple roulade of courgette with goat cheese. All mains are in the same league or more. No wine under 40Eur a bottle. Sure, the setting is very pleasant but you can do far, far better than this in Beaune.

They kick off at noon, which is when we arrived. They do actually have parking spaces for about 6 or 7 cars; I think you need to be an early arrival to get one. The 3-course lunch menu was beautifully prepared and presented, and all for 32 Euros: in a 1 star place that's a deal! Of course, the wine... More

Have eaten here many times over the past 15 years but with a change of chef God help you if you don't like it. Six of us went and only one person ate the food. Herb crusted asparagus was half wrapped in some sort of tastless breadcrumb mix which was luke warm with the actual spear cold, very bizzare, veal... More

Overpriced Nouvelle cuisine. 193 euros for disappointing meal. Dublin Bay prawns(2 @ 9 euro supplement) were neither hot nor cold. Asparagus(2 again only) was OK. Main course beef 3 tiny pieces, wife's veal was red raw. Marvellous cheese cart but only 4 tiny pieces3mm thick and 30 mm diameter. Wine at 40 euros was OK but overall not impressed.

We all loved this restaurant. Excellent food, excellent service and lovely surroundings - imaginative, slightly quirky and therefore different from run of the mill. I would go again any day! Highly recommend.

What charming and amenable staff they employ here. We called ahead the day of my mother's birthday dinner and asked if they could possibly make a cake for her, we didn't give them a huge amount of time to prepare but they produced a beautiful cake for us with smiles and fanfare. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicately flavoured... More

We had a lunch here with friends and were very impressed with the restaurant, service and decor. We had the set lunch menu which was very nice and well presented. We found the meat to be a little tough which surprising for a restaurant of this quality but the desserts were amazing. I would recommend this restaurant and return to... More
