This was recommended by our hotel and very close by. Pleasant room, good service, nice food. A little bit off the tourist path if that is possible intra muros. After dinner take a bottle of wine through the nearby exit to the beach and enjoy on a bench as the sun sets.

Our BnB recommended this restaurant as having fresh food at a reasonable price and it was indeed true. Our hosts made the reservation and the young man who was our waiter helped with the French menu. We chose the 30E menu with three courses and were very pleased with our choices. As the restaurant filled, we observed a table ordering... More

I hesitate to recommend this place for fear of it changing if I ever make it back to St. Malo. The first time, we found it at lunch, just wandering around. We were graciously seated in a pretty-much full dining room (very nicely appointed) in which we were probably the only tourists among a room of locals. The young man... More

I have been visiting St Malo for many years now but this is the first time I have visited this restaurant. It certainly wont be the last time! An amazing meal from the 17.50e menu, impeccable service, lovely dining room and such a happy atmosphere. But make sure you reserve a table, it is very popular, especially with the locals.... More

Having arrived in st malo early morning my family of 5 lost its way in walking the narrow cobbled streets of intra muros, the old town of St. Malo.....By luck ,in asking a lady for directions ,she enquired at the La Brasserie Armoricaine. Having seen the inviting layout of the restaurant,we promised ourselves an evening meal here. The restaurant opens... More

The staff is very rude, you have to beg to get a table. Very old schooled looking restaurant, the food is ok, but dont expect a smile to go with it.

Went to this restaurant on our first night in France. Just felt right so we booked. Pleasant staff and great value food. The place was packed and seemed to be mostly locals. The fruits de mer looked amazing and we are already booked for tomorrow night.

The reviews on trip advisor raised my expectations and I came away not disappointed. My impression is of a restaurant locked in time, but in a good way. The menu had traditional dishes, and did the simple things very well while not charging an arm and a leg for it. My favorite dish was the salat vert. An excellent vinegar... More

My husband had the lobster menu with foie gras to start with and a beautiful dessert at the end. I ate a salad with gibbits, followed by fish in butter sauce and desert. Very nice too. We were lucky to get the last table, the place was full of locals (or at least French people). Service was good and the... More
