We chose this restaurant as there were some very different dishes on the menu. Sadly we were the only diners on a Wednesday evening, but this did not deter us. We chose the Cotilette D'Agneau which was cooked to perfection and included vegetables and little potatoes, plus a bowl of hand cut thin chips which were awesome. We ended our... More

A traditional French restaurant with all the trimmings. Seafood specialist and all very good. We did disturb our waiter when we arrive 10mins before 7pm but the lady owner soon sorted us with our table suitable for our young family. Great seafood and happy to split one main meal for your 3 and 4 year olds. Nice traditional French puddings,... More

Delaunay is a cosy Place which is pleasantly located by the walls of the ancient corsair city of Saint Malo in Brittany. The food is of good quality and welle prepared and accomodated, even if it tends to be somewhat old fashioned and not very inventive. The dining room is not overly large but correctly decorated. The personal is attentive... More

I must disclose that I have not eaten here. It came very highly recommended indeed and I called in Mid November to book a table for the evening. I met Mme Delauney who could not have been more helpful but she explained that during the winter they only open on a Rearranged basis with a prior agreed menu for groups... More

Delaunay's is not cheap but whenever we have been the meal has been memorable - it ranks with the best in Saint Malo's Intra Muros. You need to make a reservation. It is a restaurant to take your time and savour your choice from a limited but interesting menu. The husband and wife team who run it make for an... More

As a food lover I have to say I was not impressed, we had some great oysters from Cancale - superb. As a main course I had a a very expensive sole, i had to ask the waiter if it had been prozen - he said. But it was dry and rubbery not a good flavour. I mentioned this to... More

hello, I am sincerely sorry for your comment regarding our restaurant, we are very concerned by the quality of our products and cooking. We have checked with our fish provider and we have been told that the fish ( catch during the day) and therefore a bit stress while caught . We only work with fresh fish and this reason... More

We arrived to St Malo tired and hungry without accomodation. The owner was delightful and we had a superb meal. My husband and I had seafood and our daughter had a meat mains and we were all very happy. She gave advice regarding our choices on the menu, the atmosphere was calm & relaxing, and she went beyond all expectations... More
