The opposite of tourist fare especially if you are tiring of galette and fast food treats in the old part of town. My kids loved the conch fritters and the risotto. The fish was fresh and amazing. The wines lovely. Feels as if you are eating in a charming living room -- about seven tables in all. You need a... More

A tiny little room on one of St. Malo's many little back streets hides this gem. The Maitre d stands at the back of the room behind a little counter and welcomes you as soon as you step foot inside. The food and wine menus are both small but nicely balanced. The food we were served was excellent. The fish... More

We came here for my partner's birthday. We were lured by the good reviews, and were not disappointed. The combination of toile wallpaper, exposed brick and small number of tables gives this place a very intimate atmosphere. The food was of the quality you'd expect in a Michelin star restaurant but at a very modest price. There were just two... More

We had heard good things about this restaurant and decided to give it a go. It is a lovely restaurant off the beaten-track with a lovely host and great food. I had the tuna tartare to start, and then the cod with a beurre blanc sauce, it was all really yummy!

Make sure you telephone and book! There are not many tables because the quality of the food is so good and good value. It is NOT refined or fine dining but just good steady French cooking with flair. The other bonus is that it is tucked away from the main drag of restaurants at the main gates.

This is a small restaurant tucked away close to the wall but away from the main tourist drag. We had the last available table, early on a Monday night in early July, so booking is best. The menu was a 4x4x4 but seemed well thought out and different to the moules etc offered by the bulk of restaurants. All the... More

Just on a day trip with friends, they had tried this restaurant before. 3 Course lunch for 24 Euros. The best food we have ever had in St Malo. Small rustic looks nothing special from the inside or out. But makes up for the rest with amazing food. Would be a 2 or 3 star restaurant in the UK. Will... More

What a let down. Poorly seasoned fish. Bland beef. Sloppy presentation. Even the bread was dull. Expensive too considering the poor quality. There were no locals eating here which suggests to me it is a tourist trap. The worst example of French cuisine I've experienced in a while.
