Positives - Nice dining room - Good service - Good food - Good cheese choice - Quite good value for money Negatives - Not much really - Maybe missing a bit the "wow effect"... (primarily presentation) - On Saturdays the menu with the best value for money is not available All in all certainly a restaurant we can warmly recommend... More

We often eat, either on the Terrace, or in the Cap Horn and Dinner was not up to the usual high standard.

We lunched and dined there four times. The pleasure did not wear out. the Sea food is great. The service brisk and smiling. The room is great when you're at a window table.

From the minute we entered this restaurant we were warmly welcomed . This is a really well set out and beautifully decorated establishment. Some of my friends had the 3 course 37.00 euro menu. Some of us had meals from the A La Carte menu. It was quite convoluted in that some had pre-paid, and all had different menu's but... More

Le Cap Horn is a brilliant restaurant. We ate there twice and each night had a lovely table overlooking the sea and the beach. As well as a la carte they have three set menus which seemed very good value. We tried the two most expensive set menus and were delighted with both of them. Stand out dishes were the... More

The only good thing about this restaurant is the view. Although when it is getting dark you don't see anything at all, so the value of the view is sort of overestimated. The food is poor to average, but the service is extremely poor and unacceptable. They served us rather expensive red wine and didn't changed the glasses from white... More

We all enjoyed the great views over the beach and sea. Our dinner matched the excellence of the location. Four of us had turbot, sole and lobster salad. Oh so good. This together with a bottle of Chassagne Montrachet selected from an excellent wine list made the evening just perfect. The quality of décor and service matched the high quality... More

Choose a table seaside, go for a menu with oysters as a starter: they are fabulous, but do not ask for a crepe flambee as dessert: that is a bit to high for the young staff: that is my only remark: there isthe experienced staff but too many trainees without supervision.

The service was excellent, the food outstanding and the dessert heavenly, best not to eat here every night or you wouldn't fit through the door!

The portion sizes were a disgrace for a 5 star hotel and ok I understand French cuisine is small portions but this was taken to a whole new level of small portions. I ordered duck for my main and asked for it medium, it was rare and blood poured from it, it might as well of came to the table... More
