We visited here on a Tuesday night because everywhere else was closed! It was a good experience with very helpful staff and lovely food. We were not familiar with at-table cooking and were helped and guided by the staff. We actually tried to return the following evening but it was the turn of this restaurant to be closed.

We had a great lunch here. We were a family of 6, including a 1 and 4 yr old and they were well prepared for us. There was a high chair and coloring for our eldest. The decor inside was rustic and the food was wonderful. We had the beef drizzled in whisky and set alight - it was perfect.... More

We were recommended this place for dinner. Very good. We had the freshly caught fish we can not remember the French name. The only problem was the service was a little chaotic the place was packed. .. by locals. So it is forgivable

Pleasant staff, cosy ambience and the novelty of cooking your own choice of poultry or meat on a hot stone brought to your table.

This restaurant is in an old building in the center of the old town. Ambiance often doesn't translate into good food though, but in this case it did. We had the moules and they were all cooked to perfection--and that is difficult to do. Usually, some are overcooked and some undercooked. In La Lycorne, ambiance and cuisine come together quite... My wife had Moules (mussels), I had the shrimp cooked on a hot stone. The service, the wine, the dessert were all first rate. The waiter and waitress were conversant in English. The whole dining experience was first rate. And quite a bargain for the price.

Old building in the heart of the old town. The inside is classy with stone walls. We sat at a table on the pavement and had platters (planche) for lunch. Mine contained a whole baked camembert plus meat and salad. Not cheap but very nice and large portions. I can't remember anything about the service so it must have been... More

My husband I had lunch here while we were touring around Dinan. We both ordered the mussels and fries. I had the mussels with chorizo and tomatoes and what a fabulous choice. There were so many mussels I hardly touched my fries! The tomato and chorizo added wonderful flavour to the mussels. The service was also great. We thoroughly enjoyed... More

The location is great - you feel like you're really experiencing Dinan. The food is so-so - my moules mariniere were a little bland and the very small quantity of mariniere sauce meant they dried out very quickly. Fairly priced for what you get.
