Here's a fine restaurant next to the old stone bridge in the port at Dinan. We loved the cassolette de haddock (a richly flavored gratin of smoked haddock). Desserts included an excellent light version of tarte Tatin. Service was prompt and efficient. Wines are listed only by the bottle, but some diners were ordering by the glass.

Great experience, waiting staff where very kind and efficient, food was excellent (although very rich) so not good for any diets, no obvious kids menu, but we are at the stage of pomme frites anyway and they where great for our 6 year old. I would definitely recommend the tarte tatin.

We ate at this lovely restaurant after a bike ride along the river in Dinan. They had a cozy covered veranda with a nice view of the river where we dined on a delicious salad consisting of a poached egg on top of a bed of arugula, bacon, red onion, red pepper, croutons in a balsamic dressing. We had the... More

To visit this restaurant I had to down a big hill, mountain. That was bad enough, but after my meal I had To go back up, good for the digestion, but bad for my heart and lungs. Being alone I was seated inside, not much view. For starters I chose the fishsoup, a lot of curry, a bit too much.... More

Attractive menu and much larger portions than expected. Very efficient service. Host makes sure that everyone feels welcome. Gambas starter particularly good.

We've just returned from a long lunch at L'Atelier Gourmand in Dinan, along the quai. We enjoyed canard salad and a "warm" salad, along with two entrees: cod in a sea of fromage and potatoes; and paper-wrapped cod with tomatoes, shallots, and chèvre. We started off with a kir royale and improved our meal with a dry chablis. Perfect, absolutely... More

We spotted this restaurant last Tuesday but it didn't seem to be open, and we couldn't find any indication outside regarding opening days/hours. Nevertheless, we liked the look of the menu (and having read the previous TripAdvisor reviews) we hoped that it would be open the next evening as it was out last in Dinan - it was! We enjoyed... This is a quality restaurant with French Cuisine in a great location by the river Rance. We visited twice during our stay and on both occasion the meal was excellent, personally I recommend the fish soup and the pork medallions. Staff are very friendly and service is first class.

The waterside setting along with the friendly, attentive staff combine with delicious yet affordable food to make this a place to highly recommend. Loved the Tarte Tatin!

A lovely meal enjoyed with family sat overlooking the river, eating nice simple food and drinking great wines. We managed to get a table for four at 9pm without booking but hear it is best to do so as it was very busy.
