On the quay front at Concarneau and bright signage "Fruits de Mer" we thought that we could not go wrong. Well so sorry but really! My wife had fish soup which was "different" but that's OK when in a strange land. However the main courses were not up to scratch; my fish n chips consisted of a big salad (8/10),... More

Good food, good service, lovely environment. Great selection of dishes for fish and meat lovers and a good selection of wines too.

This is a well positioned and very well appointed restaurant which gives an anticipation of good food. That may be the case on the a la carte but, on our visit, the lunch menu was poor. Fish was cold; vegetables seemed heated from frozen. One expects high quality on lunches in places like this. Should have been better. I hope... More

A very good restaurant overlooking the harbour. Service was efficient and the food was of a high standard. We both had the fish soup, which was excellent and served with the usual accompaniments. The fish of the day was well cooked and very fresh. We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant. You need to arrive early to get a table. It... More

We enjoyed our visit. Sat outside where cosy blankets are provided if you needed them! Food was very good - best we had whilst in France (some elsewhere was truly awful). Kids were able to have something other than moules frites! Colouring sheets provided too which was nice. Very entertaining to watch the seafood chef!

Stumbled on this place while looking for somewhere to eat. Sea food was fresh and tasted really good. The whole atmosphere was enjoyable and would definitely recommend it. Mussels were amazing and lots of them. The best presented meal I have had for a while. Staff were very helpful as we didn't speak French. Lovely lovely place.

We visited La Croissiere today for lunch having read the trip advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The waitress was efficient, helpful and great with our son. The menu offered a great range of seafood which we would highly recommend. We arrived at the restaurant at 12 and by 12:10 it was very busy so good to either reserve in... More

Went here on the advise of trip-adviser and they we're right the food was amazing. I had moules and frites with Creme fresh and my hubby had curried moules and frites. We sat upstairs the first time which was nice, but the downstairs wasn't so intimidating as upstairs. I think if you sit upstairs it's like you are better than... More

Friendly, tasty original Bretagne kitchen. Great seafood- the platter was amazing, the fish soup too. Nice atmosphere and a view of the old city and harbor.
