When in Brest, do not pass up the oppotunity for seafood at La Maison de l'Ocean! The quality and eshness of the offerings cannot be surpassed, and the service is both attentive and subtle. Prices are a fIr value considering the quality. This is old fashoined seafood preparation at its best. The grilled sele tion of fish will delight you.... More

The best seafood we had during our vacation, especially the shelfish - Recommends the Royal Ocean platter; crab and langoustines were excellent. Professional service

We came here on a Sunday evening to eat fish/seafood. We really did not want to fit into a specific "menu", rather we wanted to pick and choose. Every dish was delicious, including the skate wing (aileron de raie) that was done perfectly, tender and glistening, juicy and with a wonderful brown butter and caper sauce. The cod was done... This restaurant offers an incredible freshness and quality for seafood lovers at affordable prices. Also the wine bottles, very dear if compared with italian prices, here are... More

Business dinner for 2 persons and all, ambience, wine, oysters, fish and dessert (strawberry) was simply delicious Price for a 2 complete menu + 1 bottle of wine was incredibly cheap (90 euro) I will surely pay another visit once back to Brest

My wife and I were directed here for lunch by our hotel staff as our room was not yet ready. It is located in the commercial port area, so it has a different atmosphere than if it were situated in a simple fishing village or a Port de Plaisance. Still, the community seems to have designated this as the restaurant... More

I have eaten here many times over the years when in Brest for business or pleasure. Probably my favourite seafood restaurant. Usually at the end of a sailing trip so we go for the up market menu by way of celebration. This time it was at the start of the trip so we went for the €19.50 menu. Still very... More
