I liked this place. I was dining alone and the boss took the time to chat to me (in a mixture of my bad French and his rather better English). The food was well above average, with an interesting take on rillettes to start with, followed by a fish fillet that was properly lightly cooked.

This restaurant specialises in local food from the area, with the staff providing helpful explanations if/ as necessary. The 'formule' menu is a very affordable way to try out the seafood, meat and cheese options. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and informal.

The menu is not a big compilation of too much things to be cooked here. So expect an interesting but not so broad choice. It looks like this is on purpose. For each suggestion, the waiter is describing where the product come from, how the producer is raising his porks or cows or ... in a traditional and quality focused... More

We recently had dinner in this restaurant, which was located conveniently around the corner from our hotel. Overall we were very satisfied. The menu is somewhat limited. We started with oysters, which were very good (although expensive for an informal restaurant such as this). As main dishes, we both chose the mixed fish à la plancha, which was especially good... Was recommended this restaurant by the hotel receptionist and wow was it good. The food was excellant and the wine recomended by the head waiter was superb. Everything on the menu was explained by the head waiter and was excellant quality. Would highly recommend this restaurant especially if you like fresh local seafood.

Excellent restaurant, fresh food (vegetables, fishes, ...), nice scenery (I am found of the paintings with vivid colors that brighten the room) and an atmosphere. You need to book if you want to make sure to get a table for lunch!

The place has never disappointed me. The owner always has excellent wine suggestions to fit your choice of meals. The excellent quality of the ingredients as well as the pride of the owner to work with local producers make a big difference on the overall experience. Definitely a must go if you are around Brest...

We ate here due to its proximity to our lodgings just around the corner, Hotel Abalys. My husband had a huge plate of seafood fit for royalty, and delicious and fresh. I also had fish, over buckwheat noodles in a very tasty sauce. The service was outstanding. I guess being from the US I have never had a server scrape... More

I didn't expect much but meeting some old friends. However I did experience an excellent French repas in this resto. From the entry, main menu until the desert I cannot complain. Everything was excellent! Will come again next time :)
