My son and I had a lovely lunch at La Boina. We split a generous appetizer portion of Iberico ham, and then I had an herb coated roast veal served with potato and mushroom, and he had hake served with mussels and chorizo. No outside seating, but very good service and very good food.

Good value for money if you want to enjoy Bask food. Great Cote de Boeuf but veal was not legendary. Located near the beach but view is not wow.

Recommended by our bed and breakfast host, this restaurant is situated on one of the main streets of this attractive small town in Pays Basques, south western France. The starters were fairly ordinary but well presented and tasty. I had jambon iberico which was a generous helping but needed something else to make it interesting; my friends chose the mushroom... Jenifer at the hotel suggested this restaurant when the hotel restaurant was closed. It was an excellent suggestion as La Bonia offers good food and very friendly service at very friendly prices. -- 40 euros per head including wine.

Every year we have returned to this lovely restaurant at least three times each visit to St. Jean de Luz. This year the menu was not up to its usual enticements. The cuisine seemed tired and no longer as creative. Hopefully next season it shall wear new clothes and be as exciting as it has been in all of the... More

We arrived in pouring rain at 19.30 hours but were turned away ;( we needed to book. We did book there and then for Sunday and we had an amazing meal.... More

This restaurant has either changed hands or has re-branded to La Boina.. Really cracking food! We've eaten there twice now this week and all 5 of us have had a great meal! We love it so much we've booked it for our last night meal too!
