My wife and I recently honeymooned in Dordogne, and as part of our time in France we went to Perigueux in search of a good quality meal. We saw the reviews for this restaurant and decided to make the effort to find it - it's tucked away on a side street, however we can confirm that it's well worth the... More

We came for lunch during a short visit to Perigueux and ended up taking almost three hours to enjoy a memorable meal. It was soon clear that despite the relaxed atmosphere this was a serious restaurant. So between the three of us we covered a good part of the menu. Stand-oot delights included the "tapas du monde" entrée, the roast... More

We found this place through tripadvisor. The setting in the courtyard was very nice. The food and wine were top notch. But what made this a memorable evening was the excellent service. Especially the attention the owner Patrick gave to our three children was wonderful. He truly made them feel at home and they loved it. And when the kids... More

We visited this restaurant in July 2016 for an evening meal, which coincided with the France versus Iceland football match. The restaurant is just off one of the main streets (which has plentiful parking at the top of the street) and you can sit either indoors or in the courtyard style garden. We sat outside by the Linden tree and... More

Booked here based on the wonderful reviews and we were not disappointed. The charming staff were attentive and helped us navigate the menu as there were a couple of things on there we were unsure of. Chose the 3 course lunch menu - pieds de cochons and gravalax to start, rose veal served with a stunning asparagus soufflé and octopus... More

We were just back from a 2 weeks drive in France-Spain and this is the first review we write. We had a May 27 reservation for lunch at 1pm.We drove from Cognac but got lost in Perigueux and were very late 3 pm, The restaurant is closed, but owner Patrick, knowing we had eat nothing, are so kind he cooked... My sister and I saw this number one on trip advisor. We booked and we were delighted with our experience here. From the moment we walked through the doors we were very well looked after. Although they weren't busy for a Thursday lunchtime. I started the afternoon with a Kir Royal cocktail but I had the saffron liqueur added to... More

We visited only a few days ago and all went for the surprise taster menu. Food was A* and they couldn't do enough for the group, the head waiter\owner even asked my wife if he could push the Pram so she could sit and finish her main course, would love to visit again, hopefully next year.

We sat in the garden under the linden tree. Dappled sunshine on an early summer's afternoon. The food is both visually and in taste outstanding, the ambience fantastic, but the whole experience is made superb by Patrick. He is without doubt the best front of house you will find. Whether you are French, English, German or Dutch, it matters not.... More

Yesterday my family and I had the pleasure of dining at Patrick's restaurant. We enjoyed an apertif, three courses, and a bottle of wine and were consistently pleased by the tastes and textures we were served. I am gluten free and they were very knowledgeable regarding the menu and catered to my needs in a way that did not compromise... More
