Le Berry is situated on the edge of the Place Clemenceau, which is the centre of Pau. It is near the shops. Le berry is popular for both locals and visitors. Service is quick and efficient. It is a good place to sit quietly or watch the world go by, in the best of French cafe traditions.

Had a wonderful meal with friends at this very popular restaurant. The menu is rather extensive but each of our dishes was outstanding: canneloni, croque monsieur, duck breast. Highly recommend the onion soup! The service staff was very professional and like most French restaurants we were never rushed. Highly recommend!!

Recommended to us by our hosts. Arrived early as told it would get busy - and it did. Good simple food. Children well looked after. Dealt with my appalling French.

This is a very popular place to dine and we considered ourselves lucky to find an external table for six. As they are so busy they managed to bring a main course for one of us at the same time as a starter for others. Rather poor really. The incorrectly served main course also had an ant on the food.... If you're looking for somewhere quick to eat, where you recognise most of the stuff on the menu, where it looks busy enough to be popular (it is practically an institution in itself), get decent service and you can bring a child - then this is it. Plus, you can sit outside in the place Clemenceau - which is pretty... More

This restaurant is very much big bistro which the French do well. Reminds me of La Coupole in Paris. Always busy and although its reputation is probably better than the food (I prefer Majestic) it's a great atmosphere and the food is good quality.

One of my favorite in Pau. It's fine, simple, very french food, and good value. Menu is massive. The service is tip top, professional. Probably a good idea to book in advance, as it's often busy, but they'll make the effort to fit you it.

Le Berry is conveniently located on the main sqaure of Pau and offers a nice ambience with tables inside and out. The food selection is great, with typical French food such as Steak Tartare, Foie Gras standalone or with other dishes and various other things. The service however leaves wishes open. Reservations are not taken, leaving it to your good... More
