I stayed at the hotel with a group for 5 days. I made advance note that I did not eat meat. Even if this hadn't been passed on they were aware after the first day. One day I was given the same meal for lunch and dinner. Most meals were covered with a strange pesto. One starter was an oily... More

Drinks on a nice terrace started the evening. All on the table opted for the e26 menu, the cheapest, luck helps as my favourites of Gravadlax and Guinea Fowl were offered as the first two courses on this menu. Both presented and tasting perfectly. Both the dining room and outside areas are very smartly presented adding ambience to the experience,... More

We had a large group of nine eat here last week at the start of a one-week family vacation. The consensus view of the restaurant in our group was that this was the most disappointing for the week. In fairness, most of us arrived from the U.S. that day and were fairly tired from traveling. Hence, the three hour meal... More

After eyeing the deluxe menus during our stay at the hotel, we splurged one evening with the multi-course $$$ meals. I had one which included the most amazing cheese course I have ever had. It was a great special occasion.

Food was horrid and took ages to come, 45 minutes for the chefs 'treat' which was horrid. Ordered ketchup with my chips ketchup never came. They were also getting a lobster out at this time which fell out of the tank on the floor and screemed, so overall this restaurant is hideous do not go here.

This was the 4th time we dined at Le Centenaire and we have noticed a price increase of 10 % not really justified. The foie gras poellee portion has decreased by 10 %. The tournedos was definitely not like the past 3 times, in fact the meat was served with ficellec still on the meat My wife had the riz... More

Good menus and lovely setting. It was very quiet that particular lunch time so slightly lacking in atmosphere.

For our 50th wedding anniversary we ( 6 friends and ourselves) chose a slightly adapted menu Gastronimique The food was excellently prepared to the individual wishes of our guests. The Foie Gras poêlé was delicious. The accompanying wines well chosen. All in all a very pleasant evening and it will absolutely not be the last visit to this restaurant.

I had the pleasure of dining at this hotel/restaurant while visiting Les Eyzies recently. Make sure to reserve in advance - you will not be disappointed! The decor is lovely; the food amazing. Service was attentive and friendly. I would gladly return!

So sad, we have been there when it was a Michelin 2* and thought it was so good we went about 4 or 5 times over the years. The hotel decor has gone down hill with the quality of the cooking.i realize the prices are much lower then if it had maintained its Michelin rating but comparing it to other... More
