Family run place - not gastronomic but as long as you like duck or omelettes then you are ok. Very professional service. Very friendly people. The owner loves children.

Visited here for lunch after the tour of the cave so its location is perfect for that. Our waitress was very charming and helpful and the service was good. The food itself was regional fare, we had the menu de jour. The food was quite plain and well cooked and the portion size was adequate given there were 3 courses.... More

Its position doesn't compensate for the indifferent food. Several locals were eating, clearly regulars, and were served a menu, including soup, which does not appear to be available to tourists. In a region famed for its generous food, portions were mean and under-seasoned. The assiette fraicheur is a joke of small spoonfuls, almost undressed, grated carrot, unripe tomato and cucumber.... I categorise this restaurant as 'very good' because the location is exceptional, value for money is v good and the quality is good. When we drove thru the nearest town the other restaurants looked the type which would serve frozen dishes. Locals seem to come here for food at lunch. Best to book.

We went to this restaurant as part of a group of Seniors and we found it excellent; the service was good, the food well prepared and presented,we were treated with respect. The restaurant itself beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean ,tables nicely set out. The staff were welcoming, professional and friendly. The lady owner even taking her car to pick up some... Very small place, outside of Le Eyzies. You walk across the road and up an incline. This is located at the cave of the same name. Nice variety on the menu, including salads and sandwiches, but our group of eight agreed the food was only average. The waiter was pleasant and spoke good English upon prompting. We had a variety... We stopped here for lunch with our local professional guide. We were spending the day visiting the Early Man cave paintings. We were quite impressed with the meals. The entrecôte was generous, richly flavored and tender. The grilled duck was rich and flavorful. What we thought was going to be a passable lunch turned into a real treat.

This is a regular stop for tour buses. I was traveling solo so I was given a charming table away from the crowd. I enjoyed a perfect regional lunch of foie gras, bread, salad of local greens and fresh walnuts and a crisp glass of rose. A great way to kill some time until the Laugerie Basse exhibits re-opened at... More

This place may seem like a tourist trap but it is not! I had a delicious lunch there with my family all food is homemade, there was hardly any wait and the lady that owns the place was very welcoming! The view was also beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend this place it's really worth a try! We even returned a second... More

The location is great, underneath a rock shelter. The breeze was cool on a hot day. I had a sandwich and dessert which were both tasty and just right for a hot day.
