I have known this restaurant for many years and always enjoyed eating here. The menu is simple, but excellent variety. Make a booking to ensure you get a place. If you do not like smokers then make sure you sit deep on the inside of the restaurant. Also suggest you get there early to ensure you get a nice table... More

The old joke that the hardest place to find a good french restaurant is in France still holds true. There are so many mediocre places, especially is tourist magnets like Biarritz. So it was a great relief to find this place, which epitomizes everything a good down-to-earth French restaurant should be. Every dish we had was very good. Quality ingredients... More

This place is the place to go in Biarritz for foodies and elderly locals. The prices are reasonable and the cooking is excellent. Friendly staff, perfect atmosphere. The small selection of traditional basque dishes won't knock you off your feet, but if you are in to fine dining with focus on great local produce you will love it!

This was the culinary highlight of our trip to Biarritz. This was one of the best dinners eaten out that i have ever had. The started of gazpaco and paella were outstanding! I had the game hen? with chorizo -- so perfect in every way that there needs to be a new word for delicious! Our table also had tuna,... More

Loved this place so much we ate there twice. You must try the escargot - sauteed with carrots and onions with an olive tapenade crostini. It was unbelievable!!! And the local fish was superb.

We visited for dinner very late on a friday evening after being turned away from another restaurant. We were 2 vegetarians and 2 meat eaters and this was the first time during our month long stay in France that we ate something amazing and fully vegetarian that was already on the menu without having to argue with a waiter or... Enjoyed a delicious meal at this restaurant which was recommended by our hotel. The food was delicious and worth the wait. It is a very busy restaurant and you are seated close to other tables but food was worth it. There were only 2 waiters working the very busy restaurant floor and they had a system and moved from tables... More

Excellant cuisine, poor service. Not that the servers are bad - they do the best they can. But at least one more is needed. The boss is apparently more interested in saving money than providing for his customers. The very good chef should find a job in a more deserving restaurant.

Am sorry to have to echo some of the recent comments before this one. We dined here on Tues last, having booked and it was not all as I expected. After ordering the salmon, the waiter literally threw the cutlery down on the table in front of me, I should have taken a photo. I am not being picky. I... More
