They always say you should look where the locals eat when you go away and it's so true. We went to Glouby, to be honest, because there were few other places open and we were struggling to find somewhere with vegetarian options. We ordered a meat lasagne and a vegetarian one. Both came with big, fresh salads and slices of... More

We visited on a Thursday night. Lovely ambience in the restaurant. Clean and fresh looking. The staff were really nice. The food was great, pizza & calzone. Really recommend the Basque paté entree. We had a starter each plus our mains, couple of beers and a 1/2 bottle of wine for €57...great value! Our one small issue was the length... More

The pizza here is good thanks to a great crust, while the tomato sauce is a bit sweet and not enough spicy and they seem to supplement the mozzarella cheese with some French gruyère the over all taste is ok. Per the ambiance, feels like a pizza joint.

Best Pizzas ever!!! Best Pizzas ever!!! I am not just saying that. Kept on going past Glouby and it was always packed full of people and I understand why now. We finally arranged to go there and although we had to wait it was pleasant as drinking a bottle of rioja helped the time pass at the bar. Staff were... More

We were staying on Rue du Port Vieux and wanted a pizza and a bottle of wine to take back to make the most of the view from the balcony in our hotel room. The pizzas were good and the bar staff very friendly and personable. The lady offered us a couple of free shots of an orange liquor that... More

Just passing this street, we popped in and shared a calzone at lunch, it was great, reasonably priced. We past again in the evening, this place was packed out. Worth a try.

Brilliant pizzas in a great family atmosphere. Engaging staff and super service. Really enjoyed a delicious family dinner in a well run and deservedly busy restaurant.

We went for a lunch and we ordered 2 different pizzas and different sizes. They guy confused the pizzas. I told him my pizza was a different one no a plain margherita, and my partner never order a pizza with extra toppings. He answered to me "That is not what I have in my paper" and I reapeat to him... Description
We have been going to Gloiuby for 10 years now with family and more recently with friends and reckon it is the best pizzeria in Biarritz - and probably one of the best we have ever patronised.
