We regularly frequent this restaurant in the evening, especially on Thursdays when the Pianist Daniel provides entertainment and a musical atmosphere of very high quality. The cuisine, another piano, is interesting, original and tasty but does not offer sufficient renewal. The fruit soufflé alone is worth the trip, the price of the wines and especially the Champagne (85 euros) may make you turn back!!! For diet necessities I one day asked for some fries which cost me 3 euros!!!

Despite a somewhat difficult start, our stay at the Marion went very well. The choice of dishes is a bit tight but the quality and presentation are impeccable. The portions tend to be minimalist but nothing shocking. Pleasant wines, friendly and attentive service. On Thursday evening only, an excellent pianist advantageously covers the noise of the guests, amateur singers can even try their hand at karaoke; of course, if you don't like music at the table, avoid going there on Thursday... We were tempted by the very good ratings on Google for Biarritz. So go to Le Marion, a French cuisine restaurant whose decor is already very good. No doubt we had come too early, we discovered the restaurant manager with a temperament who disconcerted us a little at the start of the meal and who asked us questions about the restaurant as a whole. Many years ago we ate at Chez Philippe and were not impressed but saw that there had been renovations going on and a new name appeared on the front - Le Marion.
It's probably too far out of town for most tourists but is popular with locals at lunchtime. The plat du jour is reasonably priced but compared to the main menu it is quite a bit cheaper (half price).
Inside is nicely decorated and they even have a small outdoor terrace. The garden still needs to be tidied up though.
After ordering we were given an amuse bouche and bread which was very tasty. The boeuf bourguignon was tasty but small portion not served with any extra veg.

We stopped there for the first time on Friday June 6 to discover this place and have a quick lunch on the terrace.
We already knew “the 3 sisters” in Biarritz as well as Ahizpak in Bidart where two of the sisters practiced for a long time.
