This is a beautiful little family owned restaurant where the owners, Françoise, Xavier and their whole team make you feel at home. My partner and I visited Baud and Millet for their cheese and wine tasting, which was by far the highlight to our stay in Bordeaux. Visiting the cheese cellar downstairs is an experience to remember. Françoise was very... More

Nice place, i love wine, they should have more wine. Pairing with cheese very interesting. Dowstairs amazing, a room for the cheese and you just serve yourself. Huge selection. Good flavour mimolette and scallop.

Wonderful experience we had on our visit to Baud et Millet. Patrice has such a great personality that makes you feel at home. You can tell he loves his job! We had the cheese tour which was amazing, but the Mont D'or Napiot was even better!! Such a spectacular taste, that still today I am hungry for more!! Definitely would... More

Came here during a 5 day break to Bordeaux, it's a small cosy restaurant with very friendly staff who are knowledgeable and helpful. Myself and my wife opted for the unlimited cheese selection which we really enjoyed very much(my wife was cheesed out!) never thought I would see the day. The cheese cave downstairs is amazing along with the accompanying... More

We attended this restaurant on recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. The restaurant offered 3 options (a 3 wine and cheese plate tasting, an all you can eat cheese experience and a 10 cheese plate). We went for the 10 cheese plate each for 15 euro a head and each plate was totally different so we tried... More

We visited Baud et Millet on the recommendation of friends and still left in awe! The menu is quirky and selecting your bottle of choice from shelves scattered around the restaurant versus a list is a nice idea. If you don't want cheese for dinner, this place is not for you. However if you love your cheese, you'll think you've... More

Booked via the Bordeaux Tourism Office for the wine and cheese tasting. Welcomed by the very friendly and fun owner, made to feel very comfortable. The host was amazing. Very well spoken English and a knowledge of Bordeaux Cheese and Wine and wider region which would be hard to be matched. We were given 3 wines to try (white, red, sweet)... More

My family loved this restaurant! The raclettes were great and the selection of cheeses was very diverse. The raclette portions are very large for one person. My daughter had the sampler of 3 raclettes and in retrospect two of us could have shared the dish. My husband had the foie gras and he said it was excellent. Overall, a very... More

The restaurant was booked via a tour agency (mistake number one) so we didn't have the option of leaving as the course was per-paid. The first sign that something was amiss was the clear lack of French diners. Upon being seated the menu was hastily and confusingly explained. We originally went down to the cheese cellar for what we should... More
