If you like cheese this is a must-visit place. Raclette, fondue or a plate of cheese, there are a lot of Nice cheese options here. We had a steak as Well that was very tasty! It definitely is an experience.

We visited Baud et Millet on the recommendation of friends and still left in awe! The menu is quirky and selecting your bottle of choice from shelves scattered around the restaurant versus a list is a nice idea. If you don't want cheese for dinner, this place is not for you. However if you love your cheese, you'll think you've... More

Booked via the Bordeaux Tourism Office for the wine and cheese tasting. Welcomed by the very friendly and fun owner, made to feel very comfortable. The host was amazing. Very well spoken English and a knowledge of Bordeaux Cheese and Wine and wider region which would be hard to be matched. We were given 3 wines to try (white, red, sweet)... More

My family loved this restaurant! The raclettes were great and the selection of cheeses was very diverse. The raclette portions are very large for one person. My daughter had the sampler of 3 raclettes and in retrospect two of us could have shared the dish. My husband had the foie gras and he said it was excellent. Overall, a very... More

The restaurant was booked via a tour agency (mistake number one) so we didn't have the option of leaving as the course was per-paid. The first sign that something was amiss was the clear lack of French diners. Upon being seated the menu was hastily and confusingly explained. We originally went down to the cheese cellar for what we should... More

We did the 2 hour wine and cheese tasting offered every Thursday. We had just arrived in Bordeaux and were looking to pass the time before we could check in to our hotel. This was recommended by the tourist office so we purchased our tickets for 25 euros each there. All I can say is WOW - I could leave... More

This is an amazing experience for cheese lovers. My partner and I opted for the "all you can eat" cheese option at 32 euros per person. Yes, this may seem a little steep but for the experience, we thought it was worth it. We entered the cheese cave in the cellar of the building to find over a hundred cheeses... More

Seriously, who doesn't love cheese? This restaurant is full of the most amazing cheese - go down to the cheese cellar to see the incredible selection. You can order an all you can eat cheese option for a very reasonable price, or if you get there early enough (before 8pm), they have a perfect option where they pick nine cheeses... More

We visited this restaurant as part of a guided wine tour. I would like to visit independently. We were served chicken with basque vegetables which was very good, unfortunately, it was served with easy cook rice, which to my mined is always a mistake up there with frozen chips. We were given 3 cheeses as a taster which complemented each... More

Thank you Margaret for your review. You are right! our restaurant MUST be visited independantly to test the Cheese cave and its fantastic choice of cheeses, combinated to a famous wine and it will be the ultimate cheese and wine experience. We will try to improve the "easy cooke rice" in corespondance with the budget allowed by wine tour organisation.... More

Baud et Millet looked to be closed, but the we noticed that you actually have to ring a bell in order to get in. The reason is that they have several bottles of wine on display in the tiny restaurant. The restaurant, at least when we visited, was operated by one person only and she every now and then had...
