We visited on the advice of our local host and were not disappointed. There is a massive choice of tasty treats to choose from. Half the fun is browsing and selecting which to enjoy. The atmosphere is great, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the market which surrounds you. Despite being very busy due to its obvious popularity the... More

Really lovely staff, gorgeous tapas and quite cheap! Loved the food here and could easily have spent the day there :)

I just return to the capucins market last week end. Great transformation of this market. Among others, this is the place for a sunday brunch with tapas and a glass of wine. La maison du pata negra is soo busy that u cant avoid it. Great food and wine with some friends.... a great time for sure

This a nice place inside the local 'Capucin marché' (a market) where you can have different kind of bread with on the top ham, crab, vegetables acc ecc Place is nice and quality is pretty high considering the price; wine list is short but decent and prices ok. Enjoy it

Nestled in the marché des capucins this institution serves up quality pintxos, with a focus on high quality hams. Great option for a take away picnic too!

This is a great way of ending the visit of the market. Sampling a few tapas at La Maison du Pata Negra. Great choice of tapas, fresh, colourful and most importantly full of flavour. They are as good as those in San Sebastián.

The highlight of our trip to the market in Bordeaux was stopping for tapas at La Maison du Pata Negra. The service was in English and was very helpful. The variety of tapas - made fresh the morning of our visit - was astounding. And every bite was delicious. I highly recommend a stop here!

Ate lunch here. Thoroughly enjoyable informal dining and excellent wine on offer at a very reasonable price. Would recommend anyone to visit if in Bordeaux.

I've been fortunate to spend the past month in France covering Euro 2016 and my trip took my colleagues and I to Bordeaux in the middle of June. We decided to do some filming at the Marché des Capucins and once we were done we were feeling hungry. There are a number of options in the market but La Maison... More
