If I ever come back to Bordeaux, this is will be a first place I would return to! The tapas is just delicious! The staff is cool and friendly. Think to book in advance. Starting from 8:30pm it becomes quite crowded.

Warm and inviting. My server went out of his way to teach me about the types of local wines and made me feel welcome. It's in a very nice neighbourhood that is not already over full of wine bars.

Ended up just having a bottle of wine as this place just serves burgers. We hadn't realised this and was looking for something a bit more refined. The wine was lovely and the burgers looked good. Just wished it was a bit more obvious this...More

Huge wine selection and you can peruse all of the wines on offer by just looking at the bottles displayed on the wall with their prices on them. Plus, I loved the self-service wine dispenser (obtain the card with credit from the bar staff). The...More

This wine bar is a bit out of the way, roughly 10 minutes by car (and another 15 to try to find parking). However, it was definitely worth the trek for the very personable and unique experience. This is, first and foremost, a wine bar....More

This wine bar is absolutely superb. We were made very welcome and the three gentlemen running it were experts. The wine they recommended was wonderful and although we'd asked for a recommendation they didn't suggest one of the expensive ones. The food was wine bar...More

Description
This wine bar is located in the historic wine district, the Chartrons. There, you will discover its very friendly service and warm atmosphere. This old winery of the eighteenth century is made in very typical Bordeaux white stones, with arches and alcoves. It is definitely a truly original and charming place where you can appreciate the very wise advices of the owner and their crew in matters of Bordeaux wines but also from elsewhere. In this establishment, everything is done to put the wine in value, especially with their system wine by the glass in 3, 6 and 12 cl, machines in which the bottles are preciously conserved: up to 16 references permanently available! On the menu, choose the pajaponais pasushis (sushi tapas completely revisited), the inevitable. Or the delicatessen and cheese farmmade, the home made duck > or >, absolutely divine, or for a 100% home made dessert that will make you melt with pleasure ! THE plus : the owners are music lovers and you can enjoy a very appreciable musical florilege that makes all the difference!
