Restaurant made two critical mistakes. First we were a group of 5 who visited the restaurant in person and made a dinner reservation for that night which was a Friday night. That evening on our way to the restaurant we called and were informed that they were not going to honor our reservation. They stated they had the opportunity to... More

We were recommended to this restaurant and walked over during the lunch hour to make a dinner reservation. We made a reservation for that evening. We called on our walk over to the restaurant to advise we were on our way. We were told they would not honour our reservation as they had a larger party who came in. Very... More

This was absolutely one of the best places I have dined in my entire life, and thankfully it has been a long one...we opted for the chef's surprise menu. Not only was each and every bite exquisite, but it was so gratifying not to make the decisions and be surprised by what was presented. The service was impeccable, table was... More

The concierge at our hotel made a dinner reservation for us at Solena. When we arrived (5 minutes early) we were told that they could not seat us that evening -- they had given our table away to someone else. No other reason. There are quite a number of restaurants nearby, including several highly rated places in the immediate neighborhood.... More

We ate at Solena 2 years ago, and very much enjoyed it. It has since changed hands, but operates according to the same principles, a small, carefully selected menu of fresh foods, imaginative combinations, careful spicing, plus a good choice of wines across a range, and excellent service. We were delighted at out choice.

Concierge suggested our group of 7 making last minute plans for dinner give this small and unpretentious restaurant a try. Menu seemed limited and pricey a la carte - so we all opted for a "surprise me" chef selected 3 course package. It was just terrific....

This gastronomique restaurant was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Bordeaux. It was an excellent choice. My friend and I went for lunch and we chose the menu du jour which at €24 was excellent value for 3 courses and beautifully cooked and presented. We had a superb Graves dry white wine to accompany the tender Merlu dish,... Warm welcome in this small but cosy restaurant by the chef and his wife, both passionate of high-level quality food. Without hesitation enjoy and discover the chef's suggestions, you'll be delighted especially with a top wine (and still very affordable) : the combination will make it a true experience. remark: have a nice champagne aperitif in one of the wine-bars... Small restaurant, but nicely decorated and with an intimate touch. Perfect for couples, not so perfect for famally meals, as the tables are limited to two diners. The best choice is to get the tasting menu, where you are presented with an aperitif and five tasting dishes including desert. There is also a tasting menu that offers more than five... More

The savours of Restaurant Solena are full of surprise and delight. That simple sentence could describe the cuisine at Solena, but it says nothing about the seemingly endless creativity of it’s creator Chef Aurelien Crosato. We discovered this little jewel box restaurant last year when we were looking for a restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We ordered off the... More

Soléna, restoring of the city center of Bordeaux, is a restaurant where we feel good. The leader, OSTRONZEC Victor, welcomes you for a gastronomic discovery there where the product and the emphasis of the local producers are the center of interest. Open from Wednesday till Sunday, in the lunch and in the dinner, the leader do not hesitate in the creation to surprise you. Soléna establishes an important stage of the emphasis of the gastronomy of Bordeaux.
