I love cheese. I love wine. I love delicatessen. I live abroad and I have a limited access to all these. While on holiday in Bordeaux for a week, I went on a quest to enjoy all the wine bars in the city. I had a great time in many of them, drinking quality wine and tasting nice products. Le... More

Enjoying the wine, food, and atmosphere at Le Wine Bar was one of my favorite experiences in France. We originally sat at the bar for a quick bite and class of wine, and enjoyed the burrata and assorted meats. After meeting the owner Raphael and talking with the waitress Marie we felt so welcome and were having so much fun... More

There is no oven, so not hot food, but the food they DO offer is fresh and delicious (we had beef carpaccio and bruschetta, both were delicious and authentic). Mum and I were not overly hungry so this was perfect for us, but not the place to go if you want a big meal. Clearly the wine list is great!... More

I came here once with my mum, which was a perfect start in the evening. Sadly on my last evening I was alone, as my mum left already, and then they were not able to accommodate me. (There were free places though) So as a solo traveler, its not too nice and I would not recommend going there. If you are... More

Visited late with family after dinner. You need to eat to comply with their licence so we are some wonderful cheese (with truffles) and a bottle of wine they recommended that was excellent. We left close to closing time but no complaints from the staff as they cleared up around us. Lovely bar not too far from the river with... More

We visited here tonight as part of our wine tasting tour of Bordeaux. Service was fab, wine was beauty and our meats and cheese were great. And all so reasonably priced. An absolute gem!

We had the red bio wine which was absolutely exellent. But the cheese plate was even more unbelievable (heavenly). Based on our experience we decided to have a tapas diner the next evening because people with such feeling for quality must have also other super quality products. However, it was fully booked at 7:30 PM (July 14th...) so we did... More

Got some friendly and not pushy advice on choice of wine. The owner said that all of his wine is good and based upon the selection we tried I would be inclined to believe him! We ordered a small plate of cheese to go with our wine and it was substantial and great value, and included an Italian truffle speckled... More

We sat at the bar and enjoyed talking with the staff (mostly in English), all of whom were very friendly and helpful. We had three very good Italian and French wines. The small plates were excellent and a nice accompaniment to the wine. We left very pleasantly satisfied.
