When in Bordeaux, C'Yusha is a 'must visit' restaurant. The food is inventive, tasty and delicious. You can order a la carte or have one of the degustation meals ranging from 68 - 140 euro. The wine list is broad and well-priced with some very good second labels. there are only two staff, the chef Pierrick Celibert and his partner,... More

I had spoken to our Air BNB host before we arrived about our intention to eat well so he duly booked this restaurant for us a few weeks before we arrived. And what a fabulous choice it proved to be. Tucked away in a street you probably wouldn't walk down otherwise, this beautifully appointed room has tables deliberately spaced out... More

This is one of those beautiful Bordeaux rooms with high arches of ancient sandstone complimented by modern décor. Tables set far apart for privacy. Delicious food with magnificent presentation. The Maître d served the entire room (30 seats?) efficiently and with great humour. We were able to watch the chef coolly and calmly preparing the meals, a pleasure to observe.... More

The room is incredible...a mix of old and cool sophisticated modern, ambiance oozes out of every corner. Open kitchen to watch the very organized chef at work. By himself. Friendly, super competent maitre d'/server handles front of the house with good humour and super efficiency. This lady doesn't miss a trick! We had the 6 course tasting menu for 45... More

Visited this quaint and unusual place for lunch with friends. Unusual in that it is owned by a husband & wife team and specialises in modern French cuisine. We were the clients in the whole place which was done up in a modern way in an old building in Bordeaux as it was a late lunch. Excellent fish for the... More

The restaurant has a small capacity but large room meaning you are nicely spread out. The waitress / maitre D was wonderful and explained everything about every dish to us in English which really enhanced the meal. The food was imaginative with nice hints of Japanese influence on a modern French/European menu. Everything was delicious and I struggle to pick... More

We came to this restaurant for a family dinner, we found it on Michelin's website and it was a very nice surprise. Dishes were excellent and to an unbeatable rate : 3 courses menu with appetizers for 34 € !! The chef is very nice, he welcomes you at the entrance of the restaurant in his open-kitchen and is very... More

We dined here during a trip to Bordeaux, on the recommendation of our hostess at the B&B we were staying at, and we were very glad we did! The restaurant is based in an old wine cellar, beautifully decorated and elegantly understated. The waitress (who we understand works the entire restaurant alone, accompanied only by the chef in the kitchens!)... More

Beautiful cave restaurant with one chef out front on view and one lady on service (don't know if they are a husband and wife team but they seem very in synch). We ate off the a la carte menu and needed some assistance with understanding the French menu due to the use of unusual ingredients, which was helpfully given. We... More

An open concept kitchen allows you watch a master at work - Chef Pierrick Celibert has worked under the likes of Alain Ducasse, Michel Guerard and Bernard Loiseau (all 3-star Michelin chefs). He has learned his trade well. This is a 2-person operation (chef and the very knowledgeable floor manager) seemlessly and silently performing in concert to produce imaginative, complex... More
