The folk are friendly and helpful but I think the reviewers are a bit over excited about the wine on tap idea. I kept it simple and discussed my wine preferences taste wise with one of the wait staff and let them recommend something for me. Then I tried again. Then I left. No probs but there is nothing terribly... More

Located in the centre of bordeaux is one to be sure to make time to visit if you're in the area. This is a wine bar with a difference in that rather than having a standard wine menu - the whole bar was filled with bottles which were on tap to be used as a self service. All you needed... More

Recommended to us by the lovely "Frank" who served us in Maison du Vin (another great place to drink a selection of wines by the glass) this bar is just fab. Lovely atmosphere, helpful staff and great wines - what else do you want?! Top taste was a 1987 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Medoc - delicious but completely unaffordable anywhere... More

We stopped in here on the recommendation of a local taxi driver. This is a bar in the centre of the city with a large selection of French (and other) wines "on tap". You load a card with the amount you want to spend and then can sample wines at different price points - starting with a small tasting portion... More

Went here for a few pre-dinner glasses of wine. It was incredibly crowded, but the waiter still managed to find a space for us. It was clear I didn't really want to fight the hoards of people and get my own wine from the dispenser so the waiter offered to pick out a few wines for us to try and... More

Such a fantastic place! The staff was very helpful and made it easy to know what to do. I had three half glasses of wines from different areas on Bordeaux and loved them all! I was there on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy....so suggest a reservation. I was solo, so found a spot at the corner of... More

We like to try different wines and this was a fun way to do it. You get a card and use it to serve yourselves wine (option of 3 different portion sizes) and there was a great selection. One of the staff went through the wines with us, gave a lot of good information. We had charcuterie with the wine... More

This was a highlight of the trip! One of our favorite places to get wine in the city, and such a comfortable place to hang out with friends!

We went on a Thursday night right when they opened and were really impressed with our experience. The owner walked us through all of the wines he offers, which you self-serve at three sizes--from a couple of sips just to taste to a full glass. He has mostly French wines, a thorough selection right from Bordeaux, Medoc, and St-Emilion, and... More

The concept is great--you can pay for a 3 cl pour, a 6 cl pour, or a 12 cl pour...a tasting, a generous tasting, or a regular glass. Prices are quite reasonable (they have a few high end bottles...don't know how many hits they get for Chateau d'Yquem at €90 for a glass, but it's there). Thus, we tried out... More
