The visit at Modjo was one of our highlights of our entire culinary experience. Excellent food (quality, ingredients, presentation) and very attentive, professional service - how it was served and explained.More

A great place, no menu as such, the only question asked is dislikes and allergies, and then you get fed. We had the four course menu, and enjoyed every one of them. They all looked good and tasted good. We will be back.

Hello, thank you for your opinion! We hope to see you again soon! Wishing you happy holidays!
First of all, lovely rooms, comfortable seating, tables nicely spaced. We arrived at 8 pm, seated promptly. Perused the menu and wine list, ordered the wine, decided on the four course menu. Our first amuse bouche arrived before the wine. Barely had a sip of...the wine and the second amuse arrived. So you see the pattern here. Rush rush. Barely a heart beat between courses. An entree of foie gras was excellent, minimalist presentation let the foie shine. Fish course of barely cooked cod, also then came beef Wellington. While I applaud their attempt, overall, it fell flat. Heavy and greasy. A Julien of vinegary lettuce attempted to cut through the grease, but seemed out of place. Also, and this is really bad, our portions were unevenly sized. I got quite a big slab, cut from the middle? My husband’s portion, half the size and not as thick, cut from the end? The skinny end. Dessert followed lickety split, excellent, by the way. Next came petit fours....and the bill! We were still enjoying our wine! It was 9:15, so much for savouring our wine or the whole experience. We noticed a couple hovering at the bar, waiting for our table. Service throughout was efficient and impersonal to the point of being cold. Hard to rate because there were high points but we won’t go back and we won’t recommend.More

This is not the cheapest option in Bordeaux but we thought it was great value.
The quality of the food and the wine is worth the price of entry. Choose the Argentina black Angus fillet - was one of the best pieces of steak I’ve...had for a while
