We made a dinner reservation for a Saturday in late May. We had the cuttlefish ravioli appetizer, duck breast as our mains, and the chocolate mousse Napolean. The ravioli was very delicious while the duck breast was a bit dry. The chocolate mousse was the highlight of the meal - perfection! A must for any chocolate lover. If the food... More

We arrived in Bordeaux late Saturday afternoon so struggled to find somewhere to reserve for dinner. We tried a few restaurants and fortunately this one was not booked out. The restaurant, set down a side street off the main shopping street, is cosy and only seats around 24 people. There was only one waitress - who did a very good... More

Just had a fantastic meal here tonight. Lovely small restaurant full of local patrons. We have eaten in a couple of Brasseries in Bordeaux that were ok but this meal was different class for virtually the same money. Four excellent courses for €32, unbeatable value and skillful cooking. Cannot reccomend highly enough, many thanks for an unforgettable meal.

After being in France for a month; and trying a lot of restaurants- we think this has been the best meal that we have had! We only ordered entree and main; but it was so good especially my entree of ravioli definitely the Best Ravioli I have ever eaten. Definitely a must !

I ate here two years ago with a group of guys and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This may in part have been due to beer goggles. I returned to Bordeaux with my wife and wished to share the experience with her. We arrived at 19:30 and were first in. We chose a table at the window and settled in to... More

Well worth a visit. Lovely cosy setting of just 11 tables. We were here on a Tuesday so no booking required. The weekends would require booking. Friendly wait staff delicious food 10 out of 10!

Three generations of Joneses had lunch here ahead of the Welsh match last Saturday. What a feast for the taste buds and incredible value too. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. I enjoyed the prawn salad, the chicken chasseur and the delicious cherry clafoutis. Puddings especially got the thumbs up from all of us. Other Welsh supporters... More

My wife and I heard of this restaurant before our trip and made reservations 2 weeks ahead by email. It was fortunate that we had because the restaurant is very small with perhaps 10-12 tables - and all but ours were full. Although the restaurant doesn't have an imposing exterior, the interior is very cozy and comfortable. We were warmly... More

Excellent authentic bistro. Expect typical French service (3 hours). But the food is excellent, and very reasonable. Definitely worth a viit, but call for reservations as there are only a dozen seats

It is more and more difficult to find a restaurant which serves local specialities but this one does. The owner is in the kitchen and a charming and efficient lady (I think his wife) proposes and serves the delicious dishes. Small restaurant and full of locals so don't forget to reserve.
