Recommended by several sources, the chefs and staff at Le Buerehiesel did not disappoint. My wife and I both had the tasting menu and it was tremendous; the service was wonderful.

I would go back to Strasbourg just to eat here. The dining room is magnificent at lunch time in the middle of the park. Service was impeccable. The roast Bresse chicken sealed kin pastry was the highlight. We gobbled every morsel. Pamplemouse souflee outstanding. Some of our group had the three course prix fixe lunch for only 38 Euro. It is in the middle of a really beautiful wooded park and most of the tables have a great view. The restaurant has been in the family a long time and there are dishes that are real restaurant specialities. The brioche dessert and the whole chicken cooked in a pastry sealed pot are not usually Michelin star candidates but were... More

No way this is only a one star! Well there is one way - the prices. Great, superb food for most reasonable cost. The location in the L'Orangerie is spectacular. When you reserve your table ask for one near the curved Windows looking out into the park. Just adds to the ambience. Extensive wine list and most knowledgable Sommeliers. You... More

From our seats at a table overlooking the garden, the chef and staff of Le Buerehiesel took us on a culinary journey of Alsace. From the delicate mise en bouche and the succulent blue lobster tail, to the powerful and perfectly prepared lamb and the light and airy peche blanche; the tasting menu progressed with the perfect pairings of wine... A taxi ride from the centre of Strasbourg in the beautiful Parc de L'Orangerie this is a special occasion restaurant with wonderful creative food. Given its closeness to the EU centre it comes not surprisingly at a price but we felt it was worth it. The welcome was warm and the service was very efficient. One of our party is... More

We had two expression menus and enjoyed the service, ambience and location of the restaurant. The food was very good and presented beautifully. One criticism is that the plates were piping hot but the food on the plates was only luke warm. Apart from this we enjoyed the arrangement of the dishes, the different flavours and the excellent service. It... More

Ate dinner here during a wine trip. Was looking forward to a nice tasting menu which you would normally have at a Michelin star restaurant. The waiter then told us in a not very friendly way that we can only order that for the full party (only two out four wanted it). So we went for a starter and a... More

Went for dinner here as part of our wine trip. We were two couples and had a reservation at 19.30. The location is charming. We sat inside the glass part of the restaurant which gives a cool view point of the park in which the restaurant is located. As our friends are somewhat picky eaters, we could not go for... More

It is a very special and beautiful restaurant located in a lovely Parc de l'Orangerie. It is quite expensive but.... definitely worth it! We went for menu degustation so could try different dishes and EVERYTHING was amazing, the food just melts in your mouth. The service is very professional though little bit pushy. However, we will be back.
