A taxi ride from the centre of Strasbourg in the beautiful Parc de L'Orangerie this is a special occasion restaurant with wonderful creative food. Given its closeness to the EU centre it comes not surprisingly at a price but we felt it was worth it. The welcome was warm and the service was very efficient. One of our party is... More

We had two expression menus and enjoyed the service, ambience and location of the restaurant. The food was very good and presented beautifully. One criticism is that the plates were piping hot but the food on the plates was only luke warm. Apart from this we enjoyed the arrangement of the dishes, the different flavours and the excellent service. It... More

Ate dinner here during a wine trip. Was looking forward to a nice tasting menu which you would normally have at a Michelin star restaurant. The waiter then told us in a not very friendly way that we can only order that for the full party (only two out four wanted it). So we went for a starter and a... More

Went for dinner here as part of our wine trip. We were two couples and had a reservation at 19.30. The location is charming. We sat inside the glass part of the restaurant which gives a cool view point of the park in which the restaurant is located. As our friends are somewhat picky eaters, we could not go for... More

It is a very special and beautiful restaurant located in a lovely Parc de l'Orangerie. It is quite expensive but.... definitely worth it! We went for menu degustation so could try different dishes and EVERYTHING was amazing, the food just melts in your mouth. The service is very professional though little bit pushy. However, we will be back.

The speciality of this great restaurant being frog legs, i decided to taste them for the first time and i really liked it, very tasty and subtile. The chef came at our table to explain to us the recipe at the end of the diner. The deserts were absolutely amazing, and they know exactly how to work with chocolate: they... More

I have used this restaurant for business lunches and dinners for more than eight years and have never been disappointed. The chef is wonderfully creative and his dishes a true delight: always perfectly balanced and surprisingly innovative. The wine menu is good and offers top quality local Alsace wines as well as wines from other French regions. In the summer one... More

We came here for our wedding anniversary and were treated to one of the best meals we've ever eaten. There were two fixed price menus available as they had just opened after the Christmas break but this wasn't a problem. The dishes on both menus were outstanding - prepared and served with care, using amazing combinations of ingredients and flavours.... More

We arrived 2 minutes prior to our 9.30 reservation. The setting in a park is lovely, but problems arose immediately. The maitre d informed us that all the other guests had finished their main course and there was no one left in the kitchen. If we ordered within 2 minutes, we would be allowed to have cold crab salad to... More
