I have been dining at Le Gavroche for over 20 years any chance I get. The food and ambiance are always impeccable. Benoit, Alexy, and all the staff are so dedicated to what they do. Every time I have recommend Le Gavroche to people visiting Strasbourg I have received many thank yous. If you are looking for an intimate, unique... More

We were looking forward to this venue for a long time and expectations were high. The restaurant has a modern and high end nice decor and provides an intimate atmosphere. One feels privileged to eat at the Gavroche as there are not many tables and the service is absolutely outstanding. Very friendly and attentive without feeling to pretentious. We were... More

Les Gavroche like other fine restaurants in France is very tiny seating 20-30, and set fairly anonymously in a side street of a tourist strip. The food was exquisite and inventive and fully deserves its Michelin star, but without breaking the bank at the same time. We had the lunch and I could not choose between entrés and so had... More

We had dinner at this very cozy place in Strasbourg. The service was very good and allowed you to mix set menu and a la carte the way you liked. Foods were very good but some dishes were too salty. Good wine list with very good choices of vin d'Alsace and Rhone valley.

This restaurant has something special. The chef is obviously trying to seek something French with clear Asian influence. Try the fois gras which was served like Vietnamese pho...then duck confit inside a spring roll. Finally, Apple tart, with sezchuan pepper and mint. The description i have given doesn't do the menu justice, it is thoughtful, fresh, new and highly imaginative.... More

We were lucky enough to come to 1-Michelin Star Restaurant Gavroche for dinner, after the Strasbourg Christmas Market & it was a lovely touch to a lovely day at the Fair Letting them know ahead of time that we were vegetarian, they were more than amenable to our dietary restrictions.....and lucky for us it was also Truffle Season! Starting with... More

Best meal ever in Strasbourg. It also elevates my expectation on French dinning experience. Creative dishes made with fresh ingredients and innovative way of cooking! Presentation was awesome too! Had 4 course meal - starter: scallop panfried with peanut - a bit salty when it tasted alone, but the saltiness is balanced well by the hazelnut milk and bed of... More

Good luck to find a place in the evening but for lunch it is easier. The food and the service are very good. They speak fluent English. Light and refined, really likes it.

I'm wondering where all the good reviews are coming from? For a Michelin starred restaurant I was expecting something better. It's far from being as nice as the Buerehiesel. If you're looking for luxury and 5 stars service then go elsewhere. It is just a normal restaurant with normal prices and normal good food. We stayed until 23h30 and we've... More

If you are into food and don't mind paying for the privilege then this is a "must eat at" venue in Strasbourg! It is very Small and intimate, the staff are very good and the food is right up there. I would recommend for foody romantics. ie quiet, dimly lit etc. Expect to offload around approx 100-120 Euros per person... More
