It is very nice place to visit the place, when you are walking to Petite France. The atmosphere is really nice, the service friendly and food very good.

La corde à linge is a typical French brasserie where the atmosphere is warm and the guest feels at home. The large variety of different dishes will make your choice hard, while the kids menu consists only of hot dogs and fried potatoes. Suggested for a nice lunch break in the lovely neighborhood.

It is one of the best places in Strasbourg if you would like to have a salad (one of my favourites is chèvre chaud with beetroots) or just a glass of Alsatian wine. I have been going there for 10 years already.

I've been a couple times at this place attracted by the beautifully located terrace they have. The food is standard, they offer some burgers, salads and some Alsatian dishes. I wasn't impressed by any of the dishes, it is not bad but just as many other touristic places around. However, the place is perfect to get a quick bite and... More

We rented an apartment one block from this restaurant and although it looked very touristy with the location overlooking the canal we were so impressed with the efficiency of the staff. Every time we walked by the outdoor tables were just packed and we thought we'd never get seated and yet somehow they found us a table and we were... More

We stayed two nights at the Gutenberg Hotel and asked them for a restaurant recommendation in Petite France area and this was the name they gave us. We arrived at 9:30p on a Saturday night without a reservation but fortunately a table outside opened up for us. Our waiter was Benjamin and we have never seen a waiter work so... More

We actually went twice. Once just for drinks and the next day we returned to try some of the food we saw others eating the day before.so the drinks were great... We drank white dry local wine which was reasonable and tasty. I tried spaetze with ham and Muenster cheese. Fabulous!! My companion had meatballs in mustard with delicious roast... More

Sip a lovely grand cru Riesling and watch the boats drift past this outdoor terrace restaurant - great people watching here! The cuisine features classic regional specialties, offered with generous sides of butter browned spaetzle and sauerkraut. We sampled the pork knuckle (ham hock), meatballs w/mustard sauce & Kelsch (cheese sauce, spaetzle, ham) - so good we made two visits!... More
