Great location, good meal and good service. We would come back here to eat again. (Some extra words only to meet the length requirements.)

location: Starsbourg venue: historic quarter 'la petite France' hour: 22:30 outside temperature: 29° After a great stroll in this very nice part of the city, we wanted to enjoy a cold drink on the nice terrace of this establishment with its canopy saying 'brasserie - café - restaurant'. Asking the waitress if we could sit at a table which just... More

We had a lovely casual dinner here on a sunny evening in June. The restaurant was recommended by our hotel , who made a reservation for us ( which was good , because it was very busy). We were seated outside with a great view of the charming Petite France houses. The menu was good, and we chose a big... More

We pick this one among other, too expensives or too crowdy, or too much tourists.... It's perfectly situated with a beautiful large terrace on the Rhin side. The service was OK but the poor waitress was overwhelmed. We enjoyed the food : spaëtzle with tomatoe sauce and ham "en croûte" and the wine of course. When I get back to... More

Great restaurant in Strasbourg. With nice food, good and fast service. When the weather is good you can enjoy a big outdoor space under the trees and next to the river. The manager is very helpful and tires his best to satisfy you in finding a table. I would recommend this place if you visit this town.

The escargot and the duck were outstanding. The duck liver pate was OK but not up to the best Alsatian standards. The location was very enjoyable and very quaint. The service was unfortunately way below par. First, they do not answer their phone. Secondly, they are so busy they don't care about additional all customers and you can tell. Thirdly,... More

In three days in Strasbourg, we returned to this famous Petite France brasserie twice! Claimed to be the first large outdoor eating, food is excellent, while the staff are extremely kind, although sometimes it took time to get their attention due to the overwhelming crowd.

In the heart of Petite France alongside the river is this rather busy, but good restaurant with huge outdoor seating. It looks kind of touristy, but it turned out to be good. You can admire the beautiful 'Maison de Tanneur' and surrounding half-timbered houses. Lunch was very delicious, 'Cuisse de canard rôtie, pot de sauce au Pinot Noir' (roasted duck... More

It was raining all day Sunday. It was late and the only eateries open were kebab...and my wife is a vegetarian! We were about to turn back, wet and miserable, and there it was, like a beacon...open and even quite busy. Inside we were warmly greeted in good English and told to sit where we wished. I had meat balls... More
