Had dinner with business colleagues at Pont des Vosges and really enjoyed both the food and the environment. The restaurant is on a corner, near the river by the Church of St. Paul. The interior is classical with well separated tables, white table cloths and nice decorative touches. The menu is classical French, offering mostly meat dishes but also a... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, a few blocks away, and it was a great recommendation! The ambiance is understated and beautiful, the staff is personable and efficient, and the food was delightful. We were in Strasbourg for only two nights and decided on the second that we wouldn't find a better meal anywhere so we just returned to... More

Traditional setting , good service in general , the tuna carpaccio was excellent served with parmesan and leek , duck breast with cheery sauce my favorite , cooked just right with rich sauce . The sole was cooked well but was a touch dry for someone who likes Sole meunière . The chocolate fondant was very nice indeed. The restaurant... More

Wonderful, atmospheric restaurant with great food and wine. One of Strasbourg's finest. Popular with MEPs and Commissioners, so it must be good!

We arrived expecting a short meal after a very long drive and found ourselves still there after 2 hours enjoying the food and wine. The food is uncomplicated and very tasty. The prices are very reasonable and found a very nice bottle of Santenay for Eur 39.

The food was truly great. Service was great until around 8 PM on a Tuesday when the place got packed with people and the service slid downhill very fast with only 4 people working. Still, a nice experience and would return despite.

The Pont des Vosges occupies lovely premises, old and classy, but neither the menu nor the food were at all exciting. It was very ordinary. I would not hurry back.

This restaurant, a sort of MUST in Strasbourg ( the owner Annie, already had another place before this one, I can not remember when she switched, but at least 21 years ago, that was an institution) is my favorite. The home made Foie gras is the best and with Vendange tardive (even per glass) is the excellent start of a... More
