Came to this restaurant with my family and ordered soups and some wine. First of all, the waitress didn't speak English at all, it is a disaster for such a touristic city. Food was not bad but they also brought some bread which was not...More

Had lunch here. Place looks nice from the outside, old building and everything, that’s why we stopped here. Inside it’s nicely decorated, there are different rooms, check the one you like best before you get seated. Prices could be ok, but food is less than...More

A wonderfully decorated building in the spirit of Christmas. A fine example of the festive spirit here in Strasbourg at this time of year.

Awful restaurant with a really unpolite staff! Worst experience I ever had in France. The waitress, that only spoke French was rude and insulted us in front off the other staff while she was still at our table. A friendly French girl that was eating...More

I found this place whilst wandering around the Christmas market. It serves traditional Alsace food and seemed busy which is usually a good sign. I guess it’s the curse of the solo diner to be sat in the least picturesque place in the restaurant. In...More

During Christmas time you cannot make a reservation. You should wait in line to get a table-they work really fast so we waited 10 min probably. Too hot inside, but great any attentive service, good food-delicious beer. Just try it.

The restaurant is not far from the cathedral. The outside deco is very noticeable from the street. The choucroute is good. We could say a bit pricy compared to other winstubs. The restaurant itself is huge. During the Christmas season, they have increased their staff...More

Terrific and genuine Alsace food, served with pleasant efficiency. Try the duck specials - they are definitely special.

I dined here around 8 PM without a reservation, although there was a short line waiting to enter. The atmosphere feels warm and authentic. Although the staff were swamped, they were still friendly. The food tasted great and was worth the short wait. Glad I...More

Food was good as was the service here. Very cozy place with lots of interesting space. Food was quite nice. Onion soup and the veal and chicken dish was great. Nice wine as well all at a decent price. Would go again.
