Found this restaurant whilst walking around and immediately felt welcome. After chatting discovered a real family restaurant. Great food and reasonable prices. Father and Mother in the kitchen , son out front running things. Had a lovely spread for 4 with Cote de Rhone for €66. The kebab was fantastic as they use real Veal Highly recommended Captain Julian

The aubergine with meat and couscous made a perfectly good lunch, and the inside restaurant felt like eating in someone's home. Service was pleasant. But we preferred the food at Saladin City, a few doors down.

I dropped in because I could not find a place else where. The place is informal and serves turkish food. I ordered Ishkander kebab with couscous and it was lousy. The wine selection is tiny and there is hardly anything to pick from. If you visit this place don't buy anything other than meat rolls. I found the locals doing... More

Such beautiful fresh food. Lovely atmosphere. These people are seriously good at what they are doing. Recommend the kebab alexandre - absolutely delicious! We're here for three days an no doubt we'll be back again before we leave!

A humble place, operated by a Kurdish family. The place serves middle eastern delicacies at their best. They will treat you as if you are a member of the family and the food tastes as if your (middle eastern) mother had prepared for you. We entered after the kitchens had already been closed, but according to the middle eastern tradition... More

I'm eating at Golbasi since at least 2003! Since then I left Strasbourg every time I come back I have to go once at least! It's not a typical Kebab nor a typical Restaurant! It's a special place where most of the customers are repeat and the owner can be seated with you. Don't think they will be bothered if... More

Food here is fresh, flavorful and well presented. They have halal chicken as well. Try the chicken plate served with 2 skewers of griled chicken, couscous and salad. Ask for bread with tziki--Yummy! Owner is very friendly and accomodating and service is fast.

The food is OK, but meat lacked some taste. Decent selection. Hygiene could have been better. Decoration is fine.

I recommend that everyone tries this place at least once. The owner and his staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. I am a guy that likes to sample kébabs in every european city that I visit. I have eaten kébab in virtually every corner of France as well as Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium and the Czech Republic, but this place... More
