Restaurant was not what I expected, more like a casual family place. Food was homely rather than inspiring. We had the local favourites which were hearty heavy meals like pork knuckle, dumplings venison stew etc. Service was by the family and reasonably friendly.

My family of 4 had dinner here and cannot say enough about how delicious the food was and authentic the recipes. My daughters (age 8 &10yrs) were welcomed (not always the case in French restaurants as we've found). We didn't have reservations but popped in before they opened at 6:00pm (opens at 7pm for dinner) and the woman was very... More

After reading TripAdvisor, we decided to stop by Fink Stuebel for a late evening dinner. Surprising the place was 2/3 full around 9 pm. We were greeted and seated without any reservation. This an amazing family run restaurant with exciting delicious German French fusion cuisine. The hostess and waiter are friendly and welcoming. This turns out to be our best... More

Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking about. Did not have a reservation or previous knowledge of it. Greeted very warmly and was impressed by the traditional decor. Best yet was the food and service. The chicken in Riesling sauce and the fore gras were memorable.

All dishes were terrific with seasonal recommendations. Prices are reasonable and the service was professional. It's not in Petit France which means not so turisitc or crowded but better quality for the same price. Highly recommended!

2 minutes walk from Petite France this place looks slightly nondescript on the outside but is lovely inside. The food, traditional Alsatian fare is very, very good indeed and the portions verge on the gigantic. Indeed unless the diner takes care it is easy to be overwhelmed by whats on his table. Service is very good and prices not exorbitant... More

We went to Fink Stuebel our first night after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. We returned our second (last) night. The food was excellent, the service was superb, and the portions were generous. The entree of onion tart was so tasty we had one both nights. The mains were delicious and so large we had trouble finishing them....but we did because... More

The staff and service were really something special. Attentive, good attention to detail, thoughtful and most importantly, invisibly present. My glass was always kept topped up. The food was excellent - flavoursome, rustic at times, but all the better for it. Being a lone diner, I had plenty of time to look around. Everyone looked really satisfied. Quite rare. Another... The quality of the cuisine, namely the one from Alsace is wonderful. We really enjoyed everything. The staff was also very helpful. To be repeated.

It's located near at the petite France. It's cozy and charming atmosphere made our day. I found it rather comfortable to dine not exactly in the very touristic area but an authentic dishes!
