Lovely restaurant and food that really completes the evening. We had a great salmon thing for a starter and it was one of the most delicious pieces I have eaten to put it into words I would describe it as truly scrumptious. The steak was...ravishing and tender it’s the most succulent flavour, it was topped with thick creamy mash which is to die for. The menu isn’t vast and there isn’t any vegetarian options which was a bit of a bummer, however the great service completely made up for it! You will definitely be seeing us at this restaurant again.More

Very good, fine local food, friendly service, perhaps a little expensive for what it is, but great all round experience for a visit to Strasburg.

Excellent food with fresh ingredients in a typical alsacien atmosphere. Great welcome and service. Just one of the best place for lunch or dinner in Strasbourg.

A great place to have an intimate dinner or with the family. The new owners, a young couple are very friendly. We had a great dinner. The foie gras was delicious. The choucroute and the porc jarret superb. The wine excellent. The chef came to...discuss with us as well as his wife and offered us after dinner drinks. We highly recommend the restaurant. You need to book as it is quite small and very typical of Strasbourg.More

This was our best meal in Strasbourg. We also tried Le Schockeloch, Chez Tante Leisel and Les Chauvins and all of them were fine, but S'Kaechele was excellent! Great escargot, poulet cordon bleu and jamboneau! Nice wines too. It's very small and cosy, with a...great atmosphere and friendly staff.More

Small restaurant, looks like family restaurant, we were two couples and we spend a wonderful evening at this place. The service was excellent and the food was tasty, what else could we expect?

Do not just arrive and expect to get a table unless you are very lucky. We booked last minute on a Tuesday. The place was full at opening at 7pm and people were being constantly turned away. Probably only seats 30 covers, one sitting. The...food is divine, I had the best choucroute ever. All the ham is cured in house. My wife had bibeleskas, a casserole with cheese, bacon, and potatoes. All washed down with a crisp local Sylvaner. Very friendly service, excellent English spoken if you need it. They also have an IPad with the English menu.More

Had a fantastic dinner here on Tuesday night with my Girlfriend. Got a great table for two outside on the verandah. Exceptional food (Snails, Choucroute Garni, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Profiteroles) and a great bottle of local riesling (a Grand Cru) all for under 100 Euros....Have eaten at a number of Michelin Star Restaurants on this trip yet this was one of the most memorable. Husband and Wife Team, and what a team they make! Merci from Dan and Steph (Australians who left the shoes behind).More
