We both loved the place and our dishes! Fois gras for me and jambonneau munster for him.. Both delicious!! We finished with a mix of home-made sorbets.. Fresh and so tasty! Moreover, the service and the ambiance were great..

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of our host and enjoyed it so much we went 4 times! We selected the Alsacian specialities. All meals we had were enjoyable, fresh and well cooked. It is not a flashy tourist restaurant, nor is it "5 star fine dining". The owner speaks English, is welcoming and warm and very considerate.... More

I would highly recommend a visit to Aux Armes de Colmar. The family ownership provides a wonderful local feel with home cooking that is unique and special. This is not a formal or modern restaurant. If you are looking for home-town service, food and wine, you should definitely try this restaurant. The menu offers a good balance of fish, vegetables... More

The restaurant is great, the personnel was extremely friendly and we ate fantastic food there with very good wines. Everybody must try who is visiting Colmar.

If you want to eat fresh and healthy food that also tastes great try this cute restaurant. The people are also kind and welcoming. The prices are also ok.

I don't really like French food, but this place might have warmed my cold heart. I ordered the scallops and salmon and they were AMAZING! The scallops were perfect - garlic + tomato (?) goodness. The bread was warm and freshly cut. The salmon was juicy and so moist! Owner and waitress were also super friendly. Best food and service... More

The food was good, the decor somewhat spartan but the price was right. I had a veal entrecote with mushrooms and cream which was tender but the potatoes and onions were a little burnt. My partner's tarte flambee was typical of the region. At the beginning we had prompt service because we were the first to order but others in... More

We came here for dinner but because we weren't very hungry we only ordered entrees (three). All were super delicious, I've still been dreaming about it! So while the service was a bit slow (perhaps only because there was one waiter that night) the quality of the food more than made up for it. Absolutely delicious and therefore a must... More

My wife and I came here on a Trip Advisor recommendation and we were not disappointed. The man working the front of the house was a delight and did everything he could to make us non-Frennch speaking tourists feel at home. The veal with mushrooms in a light cream sauce was unbelievaby delicious. The froie gras was so fresh and... More
