Wonderful!

A gorgeous little restaurant, with a really authentic feel to it. We arrived at 1315, and although the displayed hours were only until 1400 we did not feel at all rushed, or that we were an inconvenience. The waiter was super friendly, and the food was AMAZING. The best Flammekuchen I've ever... read more

Absolutely loved the food and the settings. Wine list was great and the Pinot Gris we had suited the set menus very nicely :) Priced very well too!

Perhaps, we were tired and not very hungry but the food seemed to take a long time to arrive at the table and the meal was very rich. I should say the portions were extremely generous, we couldn't finish our plates, but I noticed other tables completely ate everything they were served, so maybe it was an off night for... More

Along the canal of Little Venice, the restaurant is located in a 16th Century building. The servers do not speak much English but still managed to provide great service and a delightful evening. We shared a gourmet salad for a first course, I had trout Almandine and my husband had scallops and risotto- both quite good for the main course.... More

This was a gamble for us as we don't speak French and the menu was mostly all French but it paid off as the food was very good. My kids ordered the vegetarian set meal which was superb. The black risotto was to die for. I ordered the cheese tart to start which was lovely followed by the veal. I... More

My husband and I enjoyed a classic meal - We shared an order of foie gras and then I enjoyed choucroute noire with huge scallops and fish while my husband dined on a grilled whole trout with a generous portion of almonds. Our server confirmed our suspicions that the sauerkraut was colored with squid ink by sketching the animal on... More

This place is difficult to find, without a recommendation and GPS or a good map, you might end up anywhere else. But it is really worth to look for and find it. We ordered some traditional local food and got very satisfied, a romantic place and an excellent dinner are a perfect combination. - For tourists as well as for... More

Historic and romantic location by the canal. Restaurant is situated in a deadend street, in a remote part of old-Colmar. Nevertheless a very nice place to enjoy a traditional Alsacienne dinner. Restaurant has a few sections, all "caveau type" style, a bit tight but that could be expected in such historic place . Good choice of local dishes (a.o. 6... More

We mostly went to Caveau Saint Pierre, because it is one of the few restaurants in Colmar that is open on a Monday. To reach the restaurant, you have to follow a little side alley away from the main street through petite venise and then you can find it after a right turn, right by the canal. Because of the...
