Staff friendly and helpful. Our dishes were FANTASTIC! Braised pork, scallops with risotto, veal kidneys. We had dinner there twice. Beautiful peaceful spot on the canal. JW

Lovely spot on the canal, nice to sit inside or outside, good atmosphere. The staff were extremely helpful & patient with us while we were deciding. We shared the 46 euro, 4 course menu, plus an extra main course, and the staff were more than happy for us to do that. The 4 course meal was a good choice, fabulous... More

Le Caveau Saint Pierre is our new favorite restaurant in Colmar! Delicious food and unparalleled service. The terrace overlooks the canal and is cozy and beautiful. Our waitress was beyond friendly and personable. She went a long way towards making this an unforgettable experience for us. We had the tarte flambé, trout almond, and veal cordon blu.. All delicious!! The... More

This restuarant got excellent reviews in our Guide Vert and was a slight dissapointment. I think the point of it was to be able to eat out overlooking the river on their terrace but sadly the weather was'nt good enough. Inside it was rather empty and slightly lacked atmosphere, by 9.30 everyone but us had left and the staff were... More

The restaurant is set nicely on a river bank. It was not a problem to reserve a table the day before via email. The food was very good, tasty appetizers and main dish but the best were the profiteroles - a must!

We went to this restaurant twice. We most enjoyed the veal cordon bleu - it was a huge portion and was absolutely delicious. The desserts were lovely too and so was the wine selection. Highly recommend.

I went hoping for some frogs legs but they had just run out! Instead i opted for the fowl followed by profiteroles, washed down by local beer (at this point i had already had my fair share of Alsace wine). Food was fantastic, probably the best i had in Colmar. The place is located on the river, very easy to... More

We loved this restaurant, my fiancé chose it, and she was right on the money... Right by a canal on the Rue de la Herse, it is very old, very quiet and very charming. The owners were lovely, and gave good tips for local Gewürztraminer, my fiancé managing to choose a menu where each of the courses was based on... More

A gorgeous little restaurant, with a really authentic feel to it. We arrived at 1315, and although the displayed hours were only until 1400 we did not feel at all rushed, or that we were an inconvenience. The waiter was super friendly, and the food was AMAZING. The best Flammekuchen I've ever eaten, and the goat cheese brûlée was an... More
