Nice quaint restaurant with some delicious food and very good service from the ladies there. We arrived rather late but managed to secure a table by the door and enjoyed our fare.

My girlfriend was reluctant to enter, I knew I was in for something good when I saw this restaurant. It's a very, very authentic Alsatian restaurant. The reception was perfect, we felt welcome right away. We went for a complete menu. No remarks here, good quality, good portions. I especially remember the atmosphere. Somehow you feel very relaxed, and you... More

Very good Alsatian food and good variety available. Service excellent and setting very quaint. Had Magret de Canard on Choucrotte with vegetables which was excellent. Husband had veal, also very good. Did not indulge in desert, mains were very generous.

We were recommended to Chez Hansi by the owner of our Gite. It was classic Alsatian cuisine served by servers in traditional outfits. Lots of kraut (choucroute) and meat. A nice way to try classic local cuisine.

Waitresses were very nice with our 2 little girls. choucroute was excellent and price extremely affordable. I had to read the bill twice before realising how reasonable it was. Not too touristy. Would recommend without any hesitation

We enjoyed the waitress in traditional Alsatian dress bustling about from table to table, and the food was good and reasonably priced. I ordered a 22 euro menu, which included quiche Lorraine with salad to start, chicken au Reisling over noodles with vegetables, and a slice of rhubarb tart. I wish I could I could find quiche that light, flaky,... More

Good choice of set menus and a la carte. Waitress very helpful and explained content of local dishes. Food was very enjoyable and the staff were very friendly. We all ate well and the overall cost was good value.

We went to Chez Hansi on a rainy evening. Once inside we forgot about the rain because of the warm welcome. Altough we had no reservation and the restaurant was quite full on a Saturday evening, we got a table. The dishes were prepared and served with much care. Typical Alsacian cuisine but with a modern twist. Delicious wines at... More

We enjoyed the 22E menu and wonderfully friendly service. Yes, it's a little kitschy, but you're in Alsace-what's the harm if the food is good. A previous posted complaint about the music is no longer a problem. Nice background music. Enjoyed the evening and would recommend.

In the heart of Colmar, this restaurant sells traditional Alsace fare. We had veal's kidneys in cream sauce and steak along with a carafe of Muscat. No complaints here. We were too full to take any advantage of the restaurant's amazing-looking deserts....maybe it was the Flammmekuchen earlier in the day! Also, I cannot fault the service of the waiting staff,... Two friends and I enjoyed a very pleasant and relaxing meal in this typical Alsatian restaurants. Alsatian food is not my favourite but it was quite good. The decor was very typical of the establishment and the service was excellent. The waitresses are dressed in the traditional alsatian costumes to add to the atmosphere.
